As a long-time parent at the centre, I’ve seen it go through some changes—and like any transition, the shift from Kids Club to Kids Academy had its bumps. But we’ve been incredibly lucky to have Cristina step in as the new director. She’s worked closely with the already wonderful team to transform the centre in all the best ways. From the updated curriculum to the engaging displays and improved organisation—it shows, and we notice! My daughter is getting older now and starting to feel a bit too cool for childcare, but my son absolutely loves it. He calls his educator Heidi his friend—which says everything. The love and care he receives is second to none. The team really knows him: his routines, his likes and dislikes, and especially his interests. He’s obsessed with balls and animals, and they fully embrace it. He’s building friendships and starting to share more and more about his day, which is such a joy to see. I can’t wait for the day he comes home and tells me all about the amazing time he’s had at Kids Academy Murrumbeena!

What keeps us here and motivated to enrol our younger children in the future is the team's attentiveness and genuine care. Our son has adapted remarkably well, and we are witnessing his confidence grow week by week.

Since being with the team at Kids Academy my son is thriving he loves going to day care and adores his teachers. He is happy content and progressing exactly how we would expect. The staff are welcoming, friendly and treat each and everyone one of the children with respect and care. I could ask for better staff to be looking after my son. Children are the most precious gift we have and I am 100% confident in leaving my son in their care.

However, I want to really emphasise how amazing the service is and how much it has improved over the last 12 months. My children went from crying and hesitant at each drop off to feeling so safe, secure and confident in their learning environments. The new team of educators provide such high quality care and a welcoming space for children and families. The service manager, Sophie, has been such a wonderful addition to the service. She goes above and beyond and I cannot praise her enough for everything she has done for the families, children and the educators. We are so grateful for everyone at the service, currently, who provide high quality care and who always ensure our children are happy and safe. Thank you!

Our son loves going to Kids Academy. He recently completed Junior Kinder at  this center and is currently attending Senior Kinder. The Junior... Our son loves going to Kids Academy. He recently completed Junior Kinder at  this center and is currently attending Senior Kinder. The Junior Kinder staff Pallavi and Rebecca were amazing and took good care of our son. With the help of these two lovely ladies, the transition from junior to senior kinder was very smooth. We were able to discuss all the questions we had on our son’s progress with Junior Kinder teacher Pallavi, who was very empathetic in hearing the concerns and worked with us in ensuring steady progress. The Senior Kinder is also going really well so far, and Senior Kinder Teacher Asma has been friendly. Overall, we are very happy with the care and support our son receives, and we want to say a big thank you to  Pallavi, Rebecca, Asma  and the whole team at Kids Academy Waratah Estate for looking after him so well
