I have been working as a Casual assistant throughout Fletcher Early Learning Centre for almost a month. This position has shown me the workings of a Childcare centre and made me aspire to one-day be a room leader.

Newspaper Journalist
During my three months at the Stanthorpe Border Post, I learnt a lot about the local community and the quality of people who live in this area. I wrote many articles on people helping others, starting businesses and so much more

Teachers aide March 2015
Muswellbrook Public- As a teacher’s aide I worked with Aboriginal children who had learning disabilities.
During my time as a teachers aid, I performed tasks such as:
Reading groups- where I helped students to comprehend what they were reading and assess their abilities for correct reading group allocation.

Learning games
I ran Math’s and English games with the students with the aim of them having fun whilst they learn.

Stanthorpe State Primary- On days when I am called into Stanthorpe State Primary School I am usually placed with special needs children who require extra attention. This may range from helping them to understand set tasks, to helping the student with toileting.
I am required to assist the class teacher in observing the class and providing an extra hand where needed.

Scone Inspire Health - June 2014
I was the administrative assistant at Scone Inspire Health for a short-term contract, during this time I was required to take bookings, file client information, receive payments and pay invoices.

Milkwood Teahouse - May 2013- Sept 2014
Food Preparation, Team/ Individual Work, Money Handling, customer Service, Waitressing, Barista and Managerial duties.
