Our Schofields, Alex Ave Early Learning Centre provides a nurturing, stimulating environment for children from six weeks to five years old, under the guidance of a passionate team of expert educators.
Our Schofields location joins the ranks alongside our other centres including our Mays Hill childcare centre, our Toongabbie childcare centre, our Westmead Childcare and so many more!
Children will enjoy a diverse indoor learning environment divided into dedicated spaces to develop their skills, such as a wooden blocks construction zone to enhance numeracy, a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) area focused on science learning experiences, and a tranquil reading corner to boost literacy skills.
In the outdoor learning environment, the focus is on physical activity, exploration, creativity and collaboration inspired by a range of equipment and open space.
Educator’s balance planned play-based learning experiences with time for child-led learning, rest and reflection to enhance the unique talents and interests of each individual child.
Children up to age three take part in in the tailored Evolution Program, while those between three and five join the Transition to School Program.
To encourage healthy eating habits, children enjoy five nutritious meals a day prepared by an in-house cook.
All nappies and wipes are included. Cot linen provided (excludes stretcher bed linen).
Convenient, secure pick-up and drop-off points are available.

We’ve developed our unique Nutrition Program in collaboration with a qualified nutritionist. This program is designed to help children understand the importance of healthy eating, hygiene, and physical activity. We encourage children to actively participate in meal preparation and serving, fostering a hands-on approach to learning about nutrition.
Our carefully crafted seasonal menu, which rotates every four weeks, is designed to meet 50% of your child’s daily nutritional requirements. It includes a variety of nourishing foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, chicken, dairy products, and more, ensuring children receive a balanced diet that supports their growth and development.

We’ve had a really positive experience with Young Academics Alex Avenue. The new staff and management team have been amazing — very warm, welcoming and genuinely caring towards the kids. The centre manager has created such a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, happy and comfortable. It’s also great to see that hygiene and cleanliness are consistently maintained throughout the centre. The educators are attentive, friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend this centre to parents looking for a caring and well-managed daycare for their children.

My child has been in this centre for the last 4 yrs and this place has been wonderful. The care my son received and how he has grown in this learning environment , he has gained a good knowledge of things around him. Staff is amazing and welcoming , always provide updates on child development and they always listen to parents for any requests .
