Very bad experience with centre. They breach policies neglected our child. When we complaint about that they provide you silly solutions the worst thing is that even if you complaint about the centre to higher management they don't care

When my child was first enrolled at Young Academics Early Learning Centre alex ave , the centre was amazing. Under former director Ms Tyla, ACM Ms Elissa, and the previous team, the environment was positive, professional, and welcoming. The educators were experienced, happy, and the overall energy and care for children felt genuine. Unfortunately, since the new director Sangeeta was appointed last year, the atmosphere has changed completely. On the surface she appears very kind, organises small family events, and decorates the centre nicely, but in my experience this feels more focused on attracting new enrolments than maintaining quality care and professionalism. Many experienced staff members have left due to what I believe was unprofessional and toxic management behaviour. New educators often seem unfamiliar with policies and procedures, and concerns raised by parents are not handled properly. It feels like the focus is now mainly on admissions rather than children’s wellbeing. I also experienced issues involving my own child. After we refused permission for ( transfer) tours at other branches, I felt my child was unfairly targeted by the director and the room leader, Lilly. There were suddenly many incident reports involving my son, which became very concerning for us. My child was taken to the office by the room leader ( lots of time and its breach) without proper communication with parents. I believe situations involving children should always be handled professionally, calmly, and according to proper policies and procedures. During tours and orientations, everything is explained very professionally, but when problems actually happen, I did not feel they were managed appropriately. I feel sad seeing how much the centre has changed from the caring and supportive place it once was. I sincerely wish the best for the staff still working there under pressure. Big Zero...to Sangeeta she is not deserving person for this position.

The centre was filthy; the preschool room was very smelly and in poor condition. I think they don't sweep properly, leaving dust and toys under the shelves. It needs to be cleaned to remove the very bad, stinky smell. I won't recommend it for a preschool child, and one more thing: no school readiness.

Had a walk through the baby & toddler rooms of the centre with Sangeeta, she was lovely and helpful. Sangeeta Displayed real heartfelt care for the development of our boys. We are looking forward to sending our boys to this centre in the care of all of the lovely kind educators in the near future & ongoing. The space was filled with love and excitement for all the children. 10/10 would recommend

The facility manager is really nice and polite. She explained everything well during the visit and she answered all my questions.

I wouldn’t recommend this centre. We left after my daughter was dragged across the ground by a teacher. We couldn’t stay and the management of the situation left me concerned for her safety on a daily basis untill we could get out. Since leaving we are now beyond happy at another local centre and realise this place was doing nothing positive for my daughters development. In fact, I believe this place actually set her back developmentally! All three of our kids attended this centre. It was ok under the previous management and there are some great people who have worked there over the years, but there is no way i could possibly recommend any parent send their child here based on what I now know. Your kids deserve better. Attempts to escalate concerns through area managers got weird and uncomfortable quickly. Avoid.
