Puggles use to be such a fabulous, beautiful, caring, loving, fun environment Anna created at Puggles. Unfortunately since Anna (Director) moved to a new job closer to home last sept/oct 25’ the centre has gone down hill and FAST! Multiple teachers and admin resigned within months of Anna’s departure. New director wouldn’t allow parents to take photos of their children at their preschool graduation - insisting she has someone taking photos. Well, unfortunately all she organised was a teacher with a DSLR who had no experience taking photos in a hall. The photos were blurry, and too far zoomed in, Missing half of people’s heads etc. I’m beyond devastated we have no decent photos to remember this day of our child’s life - all because of this new director that came in. The new director also never acknowledged parents or children for weeks after she started, I’m aware it would be a lot to take in, but seriously not meeting the parents, or just saying a quick hello? I’ve got many examples but I’ll finish on this one. Our child’s last day before Christmas break and she stood at the front desk/sign in area asking to have all the children collected before 3, as she’d like to do a prayer with staff, and really put the guilt onto a lot of parents that are trying to rush out for work and you’re asking us for an early mark? what have you done for anybody since you’ve arrived? The school board should reconsider her role. As I believe the centre will continue to decline under her ‘leadership’

I would highly recommend Puggles to any parent looking for Early Education! My boy has been with Puggles since it first opened! He was 3 when he started and is now 5 and has always been a full time student (5 days a week) He is absolutley loving his days at Puggles. The Management, Admin staff and Educaters are all so friendly and knowledable. They are so wonderful with my boy (and with me). I love the feedback they give, the notifications they share and I love that whatever time I arrive to collect, any of the staff can tell me about his day! I love how they incorporate the "big school" into activities using the big school library for weekly visits or have visitors from NCS students. School Holidays is a breeze, with super fun school holiday activities!! Bike Days, bushwalks, waterplay and dress up days. I know when my boy is at Puggles he is learning, he is happy, he is safe and he is loved.

Our routines support positive relationships and connections based on attachment theory and the Circle of Security. Our routine incorporates long periods for children to explore, experiment, discover, imagine, and express their ideas in a supportive environment, with educators extending their learning. We also provide intentional group learning experiences to develop character and skills for lifelong learning. Throughout the day, educators engage in meaningful interactions with individuals and groups of children to facilitate investigations centered on children’s unique interests, thoughts, and learning experiences.
