My child went to this centre from when he was 2 years old all the way up until he headed off to school. The care provided by the team here is amazing, they know each child and their interests and support is with our goals at home. They would always let me know about his day and send me lots of photos. A lot of the staff have been there for many years and the new director Abby is a star, she always has a smile on her face, is familiar with every child and so helpful!

The local centre is great and staff are great. The head office and their service is atrocious, also they use one of the worst billing systems I’ve experienced, that incorrectly charges a dishonour fee of up to $14.95 every time they make a transaction. Absolute nightmare dealing with the finance team to then get a refund. During times when there were legitimate insufficient funds in our account, it would charge this fee daily until the funds go thru. We get no notification of failed transactions, just a big incurring ongoing debit. Change your system guys, why punish your customers like this? It may be your terms, but I’ve not experienced this level of debt collection from any organisation in the country. Also when your system makes a mistake for incorrectly charging these dishonour fees, there’s no penalty to you. Completely unfair.

I’m so glad I chose Only about children Leichhardt. I adore the team! Sarah the manager knows everyone and is consistently very friendly, warm and keep us updated with an open communication. So important as a parent to feel comfortable with all the educators and I feel that way about the nursery. I also respect and feel grateful of the fact that most of the ladies in the nursery are moms. Also the events held for the kids and parents are so well thought of and well executed. Thank you team so much for looking after our kids and keeping them safe and well. Keep up the great work. I know Luca is growing and learning lots when he’s there.

Only About Children Leichhardt Norton Street is a warm and inviting child care centre within Norton Plaza in Sydney’s inner west. This centre is on level two of the Business Centre, and is proud to be rated ‘exceeding’ by the National Quality Standard. Children are cared for by qualified and passionate educators, in a safe and home-like environment that facilitates play-based learning that is both structured and unstructured. Children from six weeks to school aged are cared for from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm with all meals and snacks provided.
In the three dedicated outdoor play spaces, the children can dig in the sandpit, ride on the bike track and water the edible garden. Inside, the light-filled spaces use natural materials to encourage play and interaction with friends. Educators enjoy taking the children out in the local community for excursions and community activities that build on the children’s interests. This includes regular trips to Leichhardt Forum, the local library, fire station, nursing home, and parks. They also arrange local community members, such as storytellers and Indigenous elders, to share with the children on a regular basis.
