We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Busy Bees at Georges Hall. From the very beginning, the educators have been warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. It’s clear that they truly love what they do, and that shows in the way they support and nurture each child. The learning programs are engaging, creative, and thoughtfully planned. Our son has grown so much in confidence, independence, and social skills since starting. We love seeing the updates and photos of the activities each day – it’s reassuring to know they’re learning through play in such a positive environment. The communication with families is excellent, and the team is always approachable and happy to discuss progress or any concerns. The centre itself is clean, safe, and well-organised, with fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces for the children to explore. We are so grateful to have found such a supportive and professional childcare community. We would highly recommend Busy Bees at George’s Hall to anyone looking for a wonderful early education centre.

Mya has so much fun at Busy Bees and is learning something new everyday. The staff are warm and friendly from morning to night and always engage with you to let you know what your child has been doing.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR CHILD HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR KID TO BE NEGLECTED AND TO BE OVERCHARGED. My child went here for almost 2 years. I always thought it was an ok place because they use to notify you when there was any sick cases. However, there were so many red flags which I should noticed. She was in the nursery room when she was 18 months. There was a visit from the fire brigade. When she came home, there was a big scratch from her knee to her feet. I knew she fell down but thought it was weird that no one called or told me about it when I picked her up. In October last year when I picked her up, she was frazzled and upset. I didn't know why. She had a red mark on her face but i thought she played outside and was hot. At night time, I noticed she had a red hand mark on her face. A kid her slapped her on her face and it was hard because I could see it at 9pm at night. I was super pissed off. She told me Amaia slapped her. When I asked about it the next week when my child attended, the educator told me that she mixes the names up but didnt tell me or say anything else. I was annoyed but I let it go. For a few weeks after, she started becoming loud and aggressive at home. I thought it was because we have a newborn soon so it was new feelings. This is super weird already because she's a calm and friendly kid. After bathing her for a few months, I started noticing that she got bruises on her. I thought she fell down and brushed it off. Then one day in March I asked her a random question (as I heard from a clip that if you want to find out if someone is mean to your kid, you ask them "who was nice to you today"). I then found out that the bruises were from her so called friends named Lucia and Hayley who have been pitching her constantly for months. She told them to stop but they still did it. She told the educators about it but they brushed it off. She even told me that Mia slapped her twice on the back. I don't know about you but I teach my daughter manners. You don't hit anyone or anything. But FMD, biggest regret. She became a punching bag for these uneducated kids. I immediately pulled her out with 2 weeks' notice. I did tell the 2IC about this and she said that new steps will be in place blah blah blah. Nothing was done. As expected as her daughters were part of the group of 'so called friends'. The last few months when she was there, she use to also be scared of other kids and hide in the corner. I wish I knew sooner. I followed up about the refund that I should get because I was still charged the last 2 weeks (which I shouldn't be) as they charge you 2 weeks in advance when the child is enrolled. I asked the 2IC about it but obviously as my daughter isn't attending no more, she didnt bother investigating. Now this isn't the first time overcharging. Back in Feb I cut my daughter's days from 3 days to 2 days. For 3 weeks, I had to keep sending screenshots and letting them know because 'technical error' (obviously human error) happened. Now with the 2 weeks overpayment, I told her to look into the first 3 payments charged by Busy Bee. She couldn't even do it and asked me for screenshots. If you're in management, surely you can access charges especially if you could see that i was overcharged before but she couldn't be bothered. It's annoying because I know that if I sent her the evidence, she would probably not understand or do anything. When you talk with dumb ppl, it's like talking to a dead wall so I just had to let the 2 weeks payment go. Its not right but honestly the stress of dealing with dumb management or dumb ppl kill me. Even before my daughter left, I can tell this place is falling down. High staff turnover. There's random faces constantly in the room and no emails about new educators. It's messy. With so many childcare centres on fire at the moment, I am surprised this place hasn't been closed yet. Will report to the DOE and ACCC. One good thing about this place is that they do have some educators there that are nice. Nicole, Hayley, Christine, Chloe and Maya are nice.

I wish we had listened to the negative reviews posted below because this place is as bad as they come. We couldn't survive more than 3 weeks (2 of which was due to a notice period) with this centre as they have been the worst bunch of people you could meet let alone place your child with. Our daughter had 2 incidents with falls involving a bump on her head in the span of the 3 weeks and on neither occasions were we notified. We were only given an incident form on one of the occasions and it was done in passing as "Oh hey your daughter hit her face and has a massive bruise so please sign this form thanks. It doesnt even really hurt so its okay". The other occasion they didn't even bother because we were already leaving the centre. These incidents aside, the centre follows none of the policies or programs they pretend to set out for the kids. We knew there was something wrong from the first orientation. When we attended and we saw another child who clearly is feeling some form of emotional abuse standing slumped up in the corner next to a bin. We were there for 45 minutes and he stood there the whole time without one person (I can't call these clowns educators because they're clearly not!) checking on him! Within the same visit one of the people working there swung the door open when they were taking the kids in and it whacked one of the girls in the face and she started crying. They didn't even stop to check on her and instead just shooed the kids in for morning tea. On another occasion we came to drop something off for our daughter and when we arrived our daughter was holding a dirty used paper cup with rubbish and sand stuffed in it. The place is filthy and poorly maintained and the toys look like they've been through world war 3 and not one of them is working. When you arrive you can expect a small crowd of the people working there sitting around in a circle on a bunch of milk crates discussing what fast food they had on the weekend while the children do laps around a sand pit wondering why they are there. There is literally no worse feeling you can have as a parent then when you see your child give you a look of "why did you punish me by leaving me here" and we saw that from our daughter everyday we picked her up from here. Don't make the same mistake we did and placing your child here no matter how desperate you are for immediate care because you will regret it. They really take the care out of child care and I'm surprised they still have a licence given the mountain of paperwork they would be having from the number or incidents that happen here. You have been warned. Ps Any of the positive reviews you see of this place are actually of the staff themselves. It's actually very desperate of them to trick people into thinking this is actually a good centre with fake reviews. Trust your gut instinct if you ever decide to visit this place. Pps. As a reply to the owners reply - we have raised these issues directly with your centre manager and was advised that you guys are sorry and will make sure it doesn't happen again just for it to happen again within the next week and this time you didn't even have the courtesy to apologise or record the incident as my daughter was leaving the centre. You guys don't care and anyone who visits this centre longer than 20mins can see this from your staff. Don't kid yourself. You guys never even reached out after we left. Just lies upon lies from this centre

My daughter has been attending this centre for over 12 months and she absolutely enjoys her time in their care. She shows great bonds with not only the Educators in her room but all of them through the centre. She's shown great improvement with her language and communication during her time here. Something I really enjoy about Georges Hall are the events that the centre puts on through out the year. They have great initiative when it comes to building links with in the community, and these events are a great time for this. Thank you to the Managers and staff for showing my daughter the love and care I would give her ❤

My daughter loves coming to care. Whenever I drop her off she can’t wait to go outside and play with the educators and other kids. The Storypark system they have in place lets me know what she’s eaten and how her days gone and puts me at ease while I’m away from her.

Such an amazing centre. All educators are nice, approachable, informative and caring. My son has learnt so much in the short time he has been there. We also love the routine and activity updates.

Review from a mother who was nervous to send her almost 1 year old to day care for the first time. My experience has been nothing short of perfect so far. Staff are very warm, friendly and approachable. First day I called about 3 times to check in and each time they made me feel heard and valued. The way they speak to the children and to the parents (just as important) is lovely and genuine. I have had encounters with at least 6 of the staff members there so far, and all have been exactly who I want around my child- so friendly and loving. Regular communication, the place is clean, parking is easy, smiles everywhere, kids being responded to when upset, a family like feel- honestly can't fault them so far. The feeling I get from this place is that they treat the kids like their own. They go above and beyond their job description and I'm so grateful for that. It takes away the mum guilt and nerves we all feel when needing day care.
