We have had such a wonderful experience with First Early Learning. My son Banjo has been attending since he was 1 year old — he did have a short break — but we happily returned last year, and now he’s doing kinder here this year. We’ve seen so much growth in his confidence, learning, and social skills. He especially loves the bush kinder program and the swimming lessons — they’ve been such fantastic opportunities for him to learn new skills while having fun. The educators are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children. They create a safe, nurturing environment while also supporting learning and development in such an engaging way. Banjo absolutely loves going, which says everything. A special mention to the lovely ladies at the front desk who are always welcoming and happy to answer any questions or concerns — it really makes a difference as a parent. I truly love First Early Learning and the support they’ve given our family. I would highly recommend this centre to any families looking for a caring, supportive place for their little ones. 💛

I have been attending first early learning in pakenham with my daughters since they first opened there doors.. All 3 of my girls have gone through the baby rooms up to the kinder rooms and all blossomed while being there.. I have never had an issue with the staff or how my children have been treated. the friendly staff are always helpful with the tears at drop offs or just a friendly chat aswell. I have been very happy with my choice of childcare for my girls.

A very accomodating, nurturing and beautiful early childcare centre. With amazing excursions and activities planned for all who attend the centre, loving and caring staff who are dedicated to the children & some amazing chefs who cook nutritious (and yummy) food for all the kids which helps to broaden their palettes at home! I highly recommend this centre

We have been at First for over two years with both my children, and the staff are so lovely, open and caring. My kids love their educators. The staff always listen and you can see they really care about the kids! My eldest has just moved onto prep and the kinder (and teacher) program were amazing.

First early is like a second home for my child, I always know that she’s in good hands.<br>it’s filled with love and care, engaging activities and toys to aid in learning and yummy healthy food.<br><br>I love seeing my daughters smiling face each day as she sees her friends and educators. She’s starting to come home and talk about the things she’s done through the day.<br><br>The only suggestion I would have for the centre is to move the multiple shelving units that are along the hallway to somewhere else as it’s a tripping hazard and can be difficult dodging other parents and children during main drop off/pick up times.

From day one, my child has had nothing but a positive learning experience. The educators show care to my child and the 2 managers Nicole and Melina are always lovely and welcoming. I’ve always been well informed of everything going on at the centre and with my child which is important to me.

After moving our baby from another centre to FiRST, we’re very pleased with the centre here. I love that the nursery has a lower capacity per day, and children get more one on one attention and support from the educators. Chloe was great last year, and Taylah has been absolutely wonderful this year. Communication is great within storypark, and also the communication book that the educators write in to keep us updated as to anything needed/the progress of our son. Handovers aren’t rushed and Taylah/other educators will always give us a detailed summary of the day.

Both of my neurodiverse children have attended first early learning, my daughter, who graduated kinder in 2024, always speaks highly of her kindergarten teacher to this day. My son has been through several of the rooms now as he’s grown and has developed so much socially and developmentally during his time there. The educators have worked with us through all the documentation for both children (adhd/asd for my eldest, documenting asd for my son) and I couldn’t be more thankful for the effort that goes towards this. My sons interests are always reflected in the room and he’s never forced to participate in group activities which we genuinely appreciate as he struggles with social things, and he now waves to everyone and his speech has come a long way! We cannot be more thankful to the educators and management for our journey with them so far! Management have always been helpful and kind, we consider many of the staff friends at this point 🩷

After having many friends recommend First EL I decided to take a tour for my third child, this centre has been nothing short of amazing for her. She quickly settled in (stark opposite to her siblings at a different centre), the staff went above and beyond to make her feel calm and safe. She engages in fun activities, I’m provided with updates and photos of her day, and she is always full of smiles at pick up.

Lack of accountability with the incident where one of the carers hit a child. Reduction of hours without any parent consultation. Multiple incidents my child has come home with injuries and they haven't spoken to me about it or got me to sign incident report, so indicates to me they dont even notice it occurring. I wish id choose a different daycare for sure. Have picked up my child and the room smells of soiled nappies more often than not as they will only change kids on set schedules and too bad if they soil themselves straight after that, they have to sit in it. Have no idea who the centre manager is anymore. Im sure they'll come back with an aggressive reply similar to other poor reviews on here.
