Welcome to Karen's Family Day Care
With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, I bring a deep understanding of how children grow, learn and feel safe in their environment. As a Diploma qualified educator, I have spent decades supporting children and families through those important early years.
My family day care in Lalor is designed to feel like a second home. It is calm, welcoming and secure. I believe children thrive when they are known, valued and given the space to explore at their own pace.
I provide a structured and flexible educational program for children aged 1 to 10 years. The program supports both early development and school aged learning.
Each day includes a balance of guided activities and free play. This allows children to learn through experience, creativity and interaction.
The program includes:
Outdoor play in a safe and engaging environment
Arts and crafts to support creativity and expression
Sensory play to build fine motor skills and exploration
Learning experiences based on each child’s needs and stage of development
Regular outings to local parks and libraries
My approach combines experience with a clear understanding of children’s needs, creating a space where every child feels safe, supported and included.
