Our twins started their daycare journey at this centre. They started when they were just 8 months old and had their last day when they were 2 and a half.. We had to leave due to a change of address. From the very beginning, the whole team at Goodstart Alfred Cove have shown so much love, care and attention to our twins. As first time parents, we were so lucky to have amazing educators to help us guide and develop our twins. They were always open for advice and after every day the kids came back with more skills and more boxes ticked in their development. This centre is absolutely amazing. They all work so hard and are receptive to the needs of parents and children. We are so lucky to start our journey at this Goodstart centre. Thanks to all involved at Goodstart. We will miss you so much!

We had our child at Goodstart Alfred Cove for the first few years of daycare while I return to work. The team are very dedicated and passionate which made us very comfortable to leave our precious child in their capable hands. I couldn't thank them enough for taking such good care of our baby through to toddler.

We started at Goodstart Alfred Cove in 2018 and are about to finished with the youngest now in 2024. I was hesitant about daycare at first, but like many people had no choice. However sending them to Goodstart Alfred Cove is one of the best decisions I made for my kids. Their social skills were developed greatly, they love the educators, and one thing I really noticed at Alfred Cove specifically while we were there was there was low turnover of staff, which judging from comments from other friends is unusual in daycare. So staff who were there when my eldest started are still there today. The learning is all play based which I felt strongly about in children under 5, and I never saw or felt there was ever any pressure for them to do anything they didn't want to in terms of formal learning. But please don't misunderstand, there is structure to the day so they kids learn to get into a routine. My youngest also now loves eating black beans, so that's a massive win I've really appreciated everything that Lorraine and the team have done for me and my girls over the last 7 years and while my youngest is super keen to join primary school full time next year, I know we will all miss the staff who have been so great. On the few occasions I needed to deal with the central office in Queensland for admin type matters, that wasn't great to be honest, their manner left much to be desired but I quickly learned that there was little Lorraine and the team couldn't work out if you brought it to them. Thanks all at Goodstart Alfred Cove, we will miss you!

We had a good feeling about Goodstart Alfred Cove from the beginning and they went the extra mile in communication and helping us get in when we didn't have many options. Our son thrived there, made friends and became an avid reader with the care of the educators there. We always felt welcome and were given time to talk to the educators about his development. When we left (for a centre that was much closer to us) the educators left us a lovely letter about our son and his development. I sincerely hope our son remembers Goodstart later in his childhood and has fond memories.

My kids have been in this daycare since they were babies right up to school age. Lorraine and her team have always been amazing to deal with. Such a relaxed, family friendly, yet professional centre. More importantly my kids loved it there :)

Want to say a huge thank you to all of the beautiful ladies who cared for my son. Such a warm and caring environment and always a lot of fun and laughter too. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time with you and we were sad to say goodbye. ❤️

Our little boy attended this center at age of sixteen months. Educators in this center has been absolutely amazing. They have looked after him so lovingly he got used to the attending day care very quickly. It is so sad to say goodbye as we are moving interstate. Wish this center and wonderful staff all the best for future. You are providing a great service to community.

We came to Goodstart in desperation, we were having a terrible time at a different child care centre, and while Goodstart Alfred Cove were at capacity, we were informed of a likely timeframe to get a day, and slowly we were able to transition my child into only being cared for here. My child had a dietary requirement, which has never been an issue, in fact, staff has gone above and beyond to both provide required diet, and also to contact me immediately if anything had gone not to plan, or to ask permission to loosen the requirements for special events. Never has my child felt left out because of his requirements. Secondly, and even more importantly, from the day we walked through the door in distress we felt loved and cared for. Our concern was heard and I felt that everything was done to ensure my child could have a spot and be looked after the way he deserves. It has been nothing but good experiences from before we signed up, til this, our last couple of months with the centre. I cannot recommend it more. Thanks to all staff

Our boy has had such a great experience at Goodstart in Alfred Cove. The educators are extremely caring and there are lots of great activities to help with his learning and development. We will be sorry to say goodbye!
