About the Curriculum

About the Curriculum

At The Grove Academy, it’s in our nature to nurture, and this belief is embedded in everything we do and reflected throughout our education program. Our program is built on a simple belief: children learn best when they feel safe, supported and genuinely known.

Our play-based program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and shaped by children’s interests. Educators plan learning experiences each month based on what children are curious about, using hands-on resources and thoughtfully designed environments that encourage exploration, creativity and connection.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at TGA Wollongong. From the very beginning, the educators and staff have been warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children’s development and wellbeing. The centre has created such a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow with confidence. Communication with families is excellent, and it’s clear that the team puts a lot of thought and effort into creating engaging activities and meaningful learning experiences every day. The educators are patient, kind, and passionate about what they do, and it reflects in the strong relationships they build with both the children and parents. Highly recommend TGA Wollongong to any family looking for a supportive and high-quality early learning centre.

TGA Wollongong is an incredible centre. Since starting there, my child has grown in leaps and bounds. The educators and centre staff are such beautiful, warm people who foster a really friendly and welcoming environment. They genuinely care for the children and are invested in their happiness, health and growth. I’m forever grateful we were lucky enough to secure a spot! I highly recommend TGA Wollongong to any parents looking for quality care.

I would just like to thank Catey the director and the educators in the achievers room. I am writing from a personal and from a business perspective. For a start they are so wonderful with my daughter Mahana and this is evident when we leave and Mahana has to make sure she hugs everyone goodbye! Kind, fun and supportive! I have also been running my business Rockin’ robins there bringing music fun to the achievers room. The support and enthusiasm shown has been brilliant. Not only are they supporting the kids they are supporting me by also having fun and getting involved! We love the grove!
