We couldn't love the team at Canberra Road Early Education Centre more. Our daughter has been so happy at the centre, is always coming home with new songs she has learned, artwork she has created and is developing so many new skills. She also has a great relationship with her educators and has made lots friends amongst her age group. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for care.

Our daughter has attended this center since she turned 1 (she is about to turn 3) and we have nothing to praise for her educators and the center as a whole. She has formed incredible relationships not only with other kids but also with the educators from her room as well as educators from the older room, the directors, the resident chef and even the cleaning man! Everyone is so friendly and genuinely warm and makes us feel so welcome.<br>The centre takes great pride in understanding what the kids are currently enjoying and turning it them into educational initiatives as well as organising both incursions and excursions to further the childrens’ learning and real world experiences.<br><br>We have had a wonderful experience at this center and hope to send our future kiddies there too!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Canberra Road Early Education Centre. As a first-time mum, starting daycare felt like such a big step, but from the very beginning the educators made me feel so comfortable and reassured.<br><br>They have taken the time to really get to know my daughter and cater to her individual needs, particularly with her sleep and settling. It’s the little things that mean the most — one day I arrived and they had her favourite song playing for all the children, which was so lovely and really showed how much they listen and care.<br><br>Something else that really stood out to us is how many of the educators have been at the centre for such a long time. There’s a real sense of familiarity, experience and consistency within the team, which is so reassuring as a parent.<br><br>My daughter is so happy and settled there, and it’s clear how genuinely invested the educators are in the children. We feel very lucky to have found such a caring and nurturing centre and couldn’t recommend Canberra Road highly enough.

Out of three daycare centres we have sent out daughter to, this one was by far the worst. Because it is council run, the staff seem to come and go on a casual basis. The educators didn't know the kids names and vice versa. There was none of the warmth or attentiveness that we had experienced in the previous two centres we had sent our daughter to (we changed centres due to moving house).<br><br>On the day of our playdate (prior to the official starting date) nobody talked to us or engaged with us. I felt very awkward as I had to find something for my daughter to do for an hour. The staff member on duty said and hello and then left to play with the other kids. This initial interaction pretty much sums up the four weeks we spent at this daycare (before terminating enrolment) - lack of personalised care and not having a feeling of belonging.<br><br>On the plus side though, the cook, Janelle, was lovely and made delicious food which my daughter loved.

We had two children cared for at Canberra road - both from babies and our experience was amazing! We feel so grateful so have our kids be looked after by such amazing staff who genuinely cared for them and played a pivotal role in the little humans they are today. I could not recommend the staff or the centre highly enough. We I’ll miss you!

My daughter has been attending Canberra Rd for the past 9 months, starting at 9 months of age. We feel so blessed with the outstanding care she receives and the dedicated team of educators who are employed there. One of our biggest draw cards to the centre was the long serving team of staff. Having consistent and familiar educators has meant my daughter has settled in so beautifully. They go above and beyond each day to provide nurturing care and wonderful educational experiences, share feedback with us and learning goals. The communication is exceptional. We love receiving the daily updates and photos each day and the wonderful directors Ashleigh and Karen provide lots of weekly updates and have a warm and friendly open door policy. Couldn't recommend enough :)

When choosing a centre for my twins I looked at a few private centres in the shire before I came across the Canberra Road Centre. When I did a tour, the staff and children all seemed happy! The boys were only 7 months old when they started at the centre one day a week. While leaving them at such a young age was difficult, knowing they were in the safe hands of the fantastic educators made it a little easier. The boys are now 4 and they love going to day care. They have many friends and have strong bonds with all of the educators. I couldn't imagine them being anywhere else.

My kids have been at this centre since the beginning of the year and it has become like their home away from home. They are so happy and learn so much. The educators have so much to offer which really helps me a lot. I can see there is constant attention given to the kids, and the educators respond to the kids in ways that they understand the kids so well. The menus are healthy, broad range, looks and smells delicious, constant and ever changing. I’ve even asked for a recipe and it tasted great. The centre is always clean, and sick policies keep spread to a minimum. Communication is swift and easy. Using the XPlor app, there is constant information provided to me about my kids’ day. The run down, photos and videos provided allow me to keep as memories or to share with kids once they grow. There is constant learning of new things with a new topic every week (science week looked like fun). Actively participating in specific days of the year, allows to kids to engage, have fun and learn. There are incursions and excursions and a great one was participating in Rugby Tots out on Gwawley Bay Oval next door. There have been no issues I can identify, and with a low staff turnaround … well that speaks volumes. Convenient location and walking distance to/from Southgate. Access is easy, with easy parking … and conveniently, a great playground just outside the centre for a quick after school play before going home. Streets are calm so easy to walk to school on a nice sunny day. Having achieved the highest rating consecutive years, there’s no place else I would look.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my kids receive at Canberra Road. The staff are incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely cares about my kids development and well-being. Both my kids feel safe, loved, and always look forward to their time there. The daily activities are thoughtfully planned, fostering creativity and learning in a fun environment. I also appreciate the focus on healthy eating habits. My oldest, a fussy eater, has been encouraged to try new foods, with the cook even preparing tasty veggie alternatives to ensure they’re getting balanced meals. The attention to detail and personalised care make this daycare truly special. Highly recommend!
