I am extremely disappointed and upset with the way this kindy handled my sons enrolment. The way this situation was managed has left me seriously questioning the service’s approach to behavioural support, inclusion and duty of care.<br><br>There was only ONE behavioural support meeting, held just one month before the service terminated my son’s enrolment. In my opinion, this was completely inadequate time to properly implement strategies, assess their effectiveness and work collaboratively with our family to support his needs.<br><br>The service ultimately deemed my three-year-old son a safety risk to other children because he was escaping the classroom. While I absolutely understand that the safety of all children is important, I strongly question why the responsibility for this situation was placed so heavily on a 3 year old rather than examining whether adequate supervision, appropriate preventative measures and effective behavioural support were in place.<br><br>A 3 year old child who is leaving the classroom needs appropriate supervision, guidance and age-appropriate strategies to keep him and the other children safe. Expecting a child of this age to manage his own behavioural challenges without the necessary support is unreasonable. In my view, this situation raises serious questions about the service’s duty of care and whether sufficient steps were taken to prevent these incidents from occurring.<br><br>Instead of working meaningfully with our family to identify the underlying issues, implement appropriate strategies and give those strategies a reasonable opportunity to work, the outcome was the termination of his enrolment.<br><br>Children do not all develop at the same pace, and some require additional support. That is precisely why families entrust their children to early childhood education professionals. Behavioural challenges should be approached with patience, understanding and a genuine commitment to finding solutions, not simply by removing a child from the service when those challenges become difficult to manage.<br><br>I find it particularly concerning that there was only one behavioural support meeting before such a significant decision was made. How can a service reasonably expect meaningful progress when so little time has been allowed for support strategies to be implemented and evaluated?<br><br>The termination of my child’s enrolment has had real consequences for our family. I am left feeling that the service was unable or unwilling to adequately support my son and that terminating his place was the chosen solution rather than making a sustained effort to address the situation.<br><br>My concern is not that the kindy had a responsibility to keep every child safe, of course it did. My concern is whether it fulfilled that responsibility through adequate supervision, appropriate support and genuine collaboration with our family before deciding that my 3 year old son could no longer attend.<br><br>This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the service. I would not recommend it based on our experience, and I hope management takes a serious look at how children with behavioural and additional support needs are managed before another family finds themselves in the same position.<br><br>3 year olds are still learning, developing and figuring out how to navigate the world. They need adults who understand that, and who take their own responsibilities for supervision and support seriously.

Awesome service, my kids love it here since moving i have noticed a big difference in my son Mavericks behaviour. My girl adores her teachers. Just all round awesome service from working with us to what we want or need to telling us about how great their days were. Thank you seedlings & co

Our son has been attending the center for a few weeks now where he has settled in with ease. The center is always clean and tidy and the staff are lovely. I feel at ease sending my toddler here as I can tell the quality of care is top notch. Would highly recommend!

Could not recommend this Centre more. The attention to detail, the care for each child's/parents needs. The communication and patience. Such amazing service from the educators.<br>I was so scared to send my child into care, but they have made the transition so easy and smooth for both myself and my child. From healthy food options to plenty of fun new activities each day for the children.

We have had such a wonderful experience with the daycare, especially the amazing staff in the nursery. ❤️<br><br>This was my son’s first time attending daycare, so naturally I was quite nervous about leaving him. From the very beginning, the nursery staff have been so caring, loving and attentive towards him. Seeing the genuine care they have for him has made me feel so comfortable and reassured knowing he is in such good hands. It’s not just the educators in the nursery — every educator at the centre knows my son, greets him, checks in on him and genuinely shows him so much love and care. It is such a beautiful feeling knowing that he is cared for and loved by the whole team.<br><br>I also absolutely love the food provided at the centre. He gets nutritious, healthy and yummy meals every day, and I really appreciate the effort that goes into providing food that is both wholesome and enjoyable for the children. It gives me peace of mind knowing he is being fed well and getting nutritious meals throughout the day.<br><br>It has been so lovely watching him grow in confidence since starting. He has started playing and interacting with other babies his age, and he genuinely loves going to daycare every day.<br><br>I’m so grateful to the entire team for making his first experience at daycare such a positive one. Thank you for loving and caring for my little boy as much as you do — it truly means more than you know. 💕

Highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a nature based learning environment. This is a culturally diverse and inclusive centre. The educators are very caring and dedicated. Their app helps keeps track of kids' activities. Their admin team (Alex&Sam) always responds promptly. So glad we chose Seedlings & Co!

Alex and the team at Seedlings Logan Reserve have been amazing. My son will be starting next week and I am happy and confident that my son will have an amazing time while he is there from what I have seen with the centre tour and the stay and plays that we have done. You can see that the staff care about the children and are always engaging with them and encouraging them through activities and play

My son loves kindergarten so much and doesn't wanna come back home 😂. The best kindergarten the staff is always helpful. Never had any problems thanks to Alex especially ❤️🫶

We have had such a wonderful experience with this kindergarten. From the very beginning, the educators have been so caring, supportive and welcoming and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about the children.<br><br>My daughter has grown so much since starting kindergarten. She has become more confident, independent and excited about learning and she absolutely loves going each day. It means so much to us as parents knowing that she is happy, safe and cared for while she is there.<br><br>We also really appreciate the communication with parents and how the educators keep us informed about what is happening with the children. They are always approachable and happy to have a chat whenever we have any questions or concerns.<br><br>A big thank you to the whole team for everything you do. My family love this daycare, they have truely become apart of our village. Our children adore their educators and are treated with the utmost love and care. I refuse to send my kids anywhere else in fear I won’t find somewhere as good as seedlings Logan reserve
