Our children have spent time across multiple rooms in the centre for more than 18 months. Challenges experienced by our family have been met with kindness and support. Jacinta and Hayley have been accomodating and patient and have always made sure that we have all the information we need about the care requirements of our children. We would like to share appreciation for the kinder team. Isaac and Trinity, Ben. Also, Tanja, Amelia and Mia. We have not noted any staff changes that perhaps weren't needed, and are always impressed by how positive the team are. Many thanks to the whole team.

Eden Academy has been great since my daughter started. At pick up, staff always make time to talk whether its about my child's day or simply having a friendly conversation. In particular, Isaac has made a lasting impression on my daughter, its obvious that he loves his job because he is always passionate and enthusiastic and Tanja brings a friendly and welcoming vibe. Jacinta has a fantastic team and I'm grateful for the care and nurturing my daughter receives.

My experience with Eden Academy<br><br>Seven days after enrolling my children, my daughter came home with a large dreadlock and several patches of missing hair. Despite my experience in children’s hairdressing, management could not explain how the severe matting had occurred or why a red rubber band had been used. In four and a half years, she had never experienced anything similar.<br><br>Communication was also consistently poor. Pick-up handovers were often limited to comments such as “had a good sleep” or “had a great day”, with little information about what had actually happened during the day. Communication varied between educators, and sometimes we were not acknowledged at pickup at all.<br><br>I also experienced inconsistent application of policies. My child was sent home with a temperature, but I was not told the actual reading and no incident report was completed. However, medical clearance was later requested for a runny nose, despite my child having been checked by our GP the previous day. My questions about this inconsistency were never properly answered.<br><br>My greatest concern was how incidents involving the children were handled. Another parent told me they had raised concerns with educators several times, yet I was not informed. When I contacted management, the focus appeared to be on the other parent contacting me rather than why I had not been told. Management later stated that no incidents had been witnessed, despite a staff member who was a friend of mine before either of our children attended Eden having previously told me that an educator had witnessed and discussed an incident with her.<br><br>I was also concerned by the way staff appeared to be treated. Staff turnover seemed very high, and hearing concerns about how educators were being treated by management made me question whether the workplace environment was contributing to the constant changes.<br><br>To be fair, some educators were genuinely wonderful with the children, and I don’t want their efforts to be overlooked. Unfortunately, my experience with management and communication did not consistently reflect the standard of care and transparency I expected.<br><br>Overall, my concerns were not about expecting perfection. They were about poor communication, inconsistent policies, a lack of transparency and the way staff and parent concerns were handled. I needed to feel confident that my children were safe and that I would be informed when something happened. Unfortunately, my experience at Eden Academy left me questioning that confidence far too often.<br><br>And just out of curiosity, do I get my $50 cash for leaving a review too, like all the other parents and staff members apparently have over the past two weeks?

We are incredibly grateful to Trinity and Isaac for the wonderful care, support and encouragement they have given our son throughout his kindergarten journey. They have created such a warm, nurturing and welcoming environment where he has felt happy, safe and confident to learn and grow.<br>A special thank you as well to Jacinta, the manager, for always being approachable and accommodating with our queries and for taking the time to listen and assist us whenever needed.<br><br>We truly appreciate the dedication, kindness and professionalism of the whole team. Thank you for making our son’s kindergarten experience such a positive and memorable one!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Eden. Our 3-year-old son had never attended childcare or kinder before, so naturally we were a little nervous about how he would adjust. From the very beginning, the entire team made the transition feel so welcoming and positive.<br><br>Jacinta at the front desk is always so lovely and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Tania was also amazing when she took us through for a tour completely unannounced, which gave us such a genuine feel for the centre and played a big part in us choosing Eden.<br><br>Trinity, his kinder teacher, is incredible. She is always so calm and composed, and you can immediately see how naturally the children gravitate towards her. Isaac is another standout. He is always so informative about my son’s day and gives the best overviews of how he is progressing, what he has been doing and how he is settling in. As a parent, that communication means so much.<br><br>Ben is absolutely adored by the kids, and Sarah is always wonderful to deal with and seems to know every child so well. There are also so many other educators who come in and out of the room who have all contributed to making my son’s experience such a positive one.<br><br>One of the biggest things that stands out to us is the overall environment at Eden. Every staff member I have encountered is genuinely happy, friendly and positive. It feels completely different to some other childcare centres we had visited, and you can really feel that positive energy throughout the centre.<br><br>The experience they provide is also very hands-on, which we love. Having Bush Kinder as a weekly experience is amazing and gives the children an opportunity to learn, explore and enjoy being outdoors in a way that feels really special.<br><br>The biggest compliment we can probably give is that my son now asks to go to kinder even on the days he isn’t booked in. For a little boy who had never been in care before, that says everything.<br><br>We are so grateful to the entire Eden team for making his first experience of kinder such a happy one.

Amazing people, my son loves coming in every day. He loves Emily who is in his room. Has the biggest smile on his face, they are best friends.<br><br>Staff are all lovely and so happy to call Eden academy are second family

Well, this is a centre that just keeps getting better and better. Those smiley managers are passionate about what they are doing. We cannot fault this place. Despite the teacher being new she is supported by an ace duo in Isaac and Ben. Terenity started off shy but is great. We could not speak any higher of the program that has evolved this year and in particular the bush kinder program. Love the photos. The staff are amazing and we have no doubt that everyone is having a good time. You can’t fake the feeling and positivity that flos out the door and into ou hearts. The staff are always laughing and happy. Our dancer comes home with lots of knowledge about plants and sustainability. She has so many stories to tell.
