My daughter started at Discovery Bay when she was 2 (she’s now 4.5yrs old) when we moved to Ivanhoe from Northcote. One of the first observations I had was how clean, tidy and ordered the Centre was, and is. The entire time she’s been in attendance, she’s not missed a day due to illness. I think this is testament to how hygienic the centre is. The educators are fantastic! They were so supportive when we were toilet training, and during other times of change/challenge in my daughter’s life. They are great communicators. They are always warm, kind and supportive of her, and she feels cared for and loved at the Centre. I also love how some of the educators are from different backgrounds and heritages, and this diversity is shaping my daughter’s view of the world, which is wonderful. The recent new owners of the Centre have been great too - visible, hands on, across everything and accommodating. You can feel that the culture across the Centre has changed positively since their arrival. They invite parents to the Centre for info nights, and share and communicate with you as needed. You feel very connected to how the Centre is operating. The catered food is wonderful. We attended a tasting evening where we tried all the various dishes and they were nutritious and delicious. My daughter always talks about the food when she returns home. Can’t promote Discovery Bay enough. I think it’s a little gem of a place, and is educating my daughter about so many worldly topics before she goes to school. She will be so sad to leave.

We’ve had a really positive experience with this childcare centre. My eldest daughter attended when it was under previous ownership, and I’ve seen a big improvement since the new owners took over. Communication is much better, and the educators are very involved, caring, and attentive with the children. I now have both of my daughters attending and it’s been lovely to see how much they’ve learned and grown in such a warm, supportive environment. A special mention to the owners, Marissa and Tenille, who have been fantastic. Any concerns I’ve had have been addressed promptly, and they are always approachable, supportive, and genuinely care. I would highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a caring and well-run childcare.

Tennille & Marisa are setting new standards at this daycare centre. The staff seem happy and that means the kids are happy and supported to grow and develop.

My child has been with the centre for almost two years and the teachers here are truly unbelievable and a valuable asset to the centre. They are loving professionals with a heart in their job helping the little ones to explore grow and bring the best out of them. The day always start with greetings from everyone when you do the drop off and finish with a happy face (sometimes two or more) running towards you. The communication happens on software, on the phone, in person and between chats is really reassuring and manager Marisa and Tennille, admin coordinator Rachel are every supportive and friendly. As a parent we felt trusted, heard, respected and supported by such responsible and professional team with big hearts. ♥️

Our daughter has been at Discovery Bay for 7 months now and we love it. We feel very comfortable knowing she is in safe hands and well looked after. She continues to grow and learn there. The staff and management are all great and communicate well.

My son Jamal started at Discovery Bay Early Learning Centre last year, and I was very worried about him starting a new childcare. From the first day I walked into the centre, the owners and staff were so kind, welcoming, and easy to talk to. They really listened and made me feel comfortable. My 5-month-old also started this year and is doing so well. The staff give me daily feedback about both of my boys, which I really appreciate. The centre feels more like a family than a childcare, and it is always very clean and smells lovely. I couldn’t be happier with the care they provide.
