Welcome to Davis Street Kindergarten

Davis Street Kindergarten is a community of learners where children are encouraged to develop a strong self-image and a love of learning. Established in 1959, Davis Street Kindergarten offers sessional three and four year old kindergarten programs, and a Pre-Prep kindergarten program all of which are influenced by the educational projects of Reggio Emilia. Our programs are delivered by caring, creative and experienced teachers in bright, welcoming and inspiring classrooms with two stimulating, fun outdoor play areas. Davis Street Kindergarten is located in Kew, Melbourne.

In 2022 our kindergarten and program was assessed against the National Quality Framework by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).  We are proud to have received an overall rating of “Exceeding”.

We have 3 programs available - 3 year old funded kinder, 4 year old funded kinder and pre-prep sessions.
