Always so warm and friendly and genuinely caring. We see every day how well they care for our son, and how happy and safe he is. There is always something delicious on the home-cooked menu. Learning through play is a strong focus, which is executed really well with many indoor and outdoor activities, games and resources. We’re so grateful for the fabulous care our son receives and for the meaningful connections and relationships he’s developing with educators and friends. We’ve had a really positive experience at this Guardian centre. The staff are warm, caring and attentive, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the children. Our kids have grown in confidence and independence since starting, and they always come home happy. They are absolutely convinced that Ellyn is the best, and I don’t think anyone could change their minds on that! Communication is great, and we always feel our children are safe, supported and understood. We’re very grateful to have found this centre. Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
