I completed my placement at this centre, and it was truly a wonderful experience. It is a warm, caring, and supportive environment, and I learned so much during my time here. Even now, I still think about the children — their sweet, innocent faces, the excitement in their eyes when I blew bubbles 🫧, the little “meals” they made for me, the birthday songs they sang for me ,and the spontaneous hugs they gave so freely. All those little moments and expressions are memories I will always cherish.🫶🏻 I’m deeply grateful to have met so many beautiful little souls ☺️😊. This experience will always hold a special place in my heart. 😊🧡💛❤️💜🩵💚

Fantastic staff with good retention. Passionate and engaging educators. My children are very happy here and the administrations flexibility and support of families, is like no other childcare.

If you're looking for a centre with bells and whistles and apps to tell you what's happening every minute, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a centre that cares for your child as if they were their own, then Mentone Childcare & Kindergarten is for you! We've had the bells & whistles experience, but since moving to Mentone, we've had happier children, educator continuity (so important!) and far far far fewer incident reports. The food is fantastic and my son asks for it at home, all the educators know my kids names and greet them warmly when we arrive. My eldest is starting school in 2026, and i have no concerns about his readiness with the kinder program, he's writing, reading short words, and teaching me sign language! We are truely happy with the centre, its small but a beautiful community, and i couldn't recommend it more.

From day one, the educators and staff have gone above and beyond, especially in accommodating our daughters condition and the procedure she recently went through. Their understanding, patience, and gentle approach made such a big difference during what could have been a very stressful time for our family. What truly stands out is how much they genuinely care not just for the children, but for the entire family. It never feels like just a drop-off and pick-up routine; it feels like being part of a community, even a second home. We’ve always felt heard, supported, and included every step of the way. Very friendly and homely centre with a great covered decking area where the kids have their morning tea on a nice day. The educators are wonderful - really caring and always there to help with any tantrums at drop off. Most of them have been there since my son started 2.5 years ago and it’s reassuring to see their smiling faces. Management have been accommodating when I needed to change days due to contract work. Their annual family Halloween party is awesome!

We are having a great experience at Mentone Childcare and Kindergarten for our daughter. The staff - included the director Celeste - is friendly and caring, and we can see how much they truly care about the kids. Celeste has a big heart and she feels empathy and a desire to help people. My daughter is learning letters, numbers and enjoys going to the center very much. The communication with parents is always clear, and we feel part of a supportive community. We’re very happy with the care and education she’s receiving, and we highly recommend Mentone Childcare and Kindergarten to other families.

We have been here since my daughter was 6 months old and she absolutely loves it here and she is 4 and a half now. She loves all her teachers as well. Celeste does a great job running the Centre and her communication is excellent. I recommend :)

Our son Ray has been attending the centre for 3 years now, starting in the baby room and moving to the toddler, and now 3-year-old room. From day one, we’ve felt so confident in the care he receives. The educators are amazing—warm, nurturing, and genuinely care about the children’s well-being and development. It’s clear they love what they do, and Ray adores them in return. He has learned so much during his time here, and we love watching him grow and thrive in such a supportive environment. He feels safe, happy, and excited to learn every day. We’re so grateful for the love and dedication of the entire team and highly recommend them to any parents looking for exceptional care for their little ones.
