We as a family absolutely love Guardian West Wodonga and cannot recommend it highly enough. They have taken such wonderful care of my son since he started in early 2025, and the level of care, communication, and genuine warmth shown by the team has been outstanding. From the centre manager through to every educator that has been apart of my son’s journey, I truly cannot fault anyone. The educators communicate so well, which gives me complete confidence and peace of mind, and most importantly, my son is happy there! A special mention must go to Kim at the front desk. She is always so welcoming, friendly, professional, and consistently goes above and beyond to make us feel valued and supported. She truly is a wonderful first point of contact and truly sets the tone for the centre. The recent renovations have further improved an already fantastic centre! By focusing on Nutrition for Life, Guardian gives families peace of mind, knowing their children are developing habits that can set them up for a future of exposure to different foods, good eating patterns and healthy eating. Our qualified cook / chef provides 5 healthy foods every day from our in-house kitchen.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week for three year olds and 16-25 hours a week for four year olds. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy and can help to lower the out-of-pocket fees for children attending the centre’s long day care kindergarten program.
