A wonderful centre, the educators are exceptionally lovely and attentive; my son loves going everyday. There are lots of activities, communication and opportunities for education. Would highly recommend.

We’ve sent our daughter here since she was 10 months (she’s now 2.5) old and have nothing but positive things to say about OAB Neutral Bay. The educators are so caring & kind. They know all the kids names even if they’re not in their specific room which makes for such a welcoming environment. The communication is very proactive and you get so many updates which is particularly reassuring in the early days! The outdoor space at this centre is what sold it for us. It’s such a bonus in this area and makes for so many fun activities. The food is prepared by Ash (the chef) and it’s so varied and nutritious. OAC hosts community events regularly which keeps parents and extended family members involved. We have loved sending our daughter here and would always recommended it to others. Thank you Ingrid & Merlin for running such a wonderful place for our daughter to thrive!

We couldn’t be happier with this childcare centre. The staff are absolutely lovely – they genuinely care, go the extra mile, and are so personable with both children and parents. The outdoor area is fantastic and gives the kids plenty of space to explore and play, and the centre offers such a great variety of activities. From gardening and wet play to watching chickens hatch, there’s always something engaging and hands-on happening. A special mention to the chef – the food is amazing and clearly made with care. We also love how much effort the centre puts into celebrations. Whether it’s Easter, Christmas, or Mother’s Day, they really make it special with decorations, events, and thoughtful touches like morning teas and even things like pony rides at themed parties. Communication is excellent – the app updates and personal photos give real peace of mind and make you feel connected to your child’s day. Most importantly, my child absolutely loves going. She’s always asking to go and talks about her friends and teachers all the time, which says everything. Highly recommend.

I recently spent time at this outstanding service and was so impressed. The presentation is beautiful with outstanding attention to detail, that creates a homely and welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. The learning is clearly visible and the classrooms are well resourced and clean. What struck me most was how content the children seemed. Even with many children present, it felt calm and unhurried. Something that genuinely surprised me. It was also evident that the Educators truly enjoy their work. I saw so many warm and authentic interactions during my visit. The large playground is fantastic, full of interesting things to explore. The amazing silver slide is definitely a highlight. I think this is an exceptional service which balances high quality education with genuine care. I highly recommend it.

My daughter attended this centre for 18 months and educators were very lovely and so caring and many had extremely long tenure with the centre but I consistently witnessed the centre not adhering to correct ratios for young children (2 and under) particularly around drop off times, I had to complain to head office many times and often had to wait up to an hour until more educators arrived and I felt it was safe to leave my daughter. The lack of adherence to or trying to game ratios is particularly concerning with the recent four corners investigation, I was always concerned for children seriously hurting themselves with the lack of supervision and did witness a number of children being bitten or falling onto their head from a high height - I had not even considered the risk of child sexual abuse when and if ratios are not met.

Absolutely amazing centre!

Our children have attended OAC Neutral Bay since early 2020 (during the height of the pandemic), when they were babies in the nursery right through to preschool, four days a week. There hasn’t been a single day where our children haven’t come home happy. We chose to send our children to the OAC Neutral Bay campus as we could see early on that we have a super active first born and their very large outdoor area is amazing - that was a great decision. The campus has an extremely dedicated and caring team of educators who have watched our children grow and supported their development all the way through. The team work really hard to keep children engaged all day long in a range of activities, whether it’s dancing, reading, drawing, painting, playing sport games outside, playing in the sandpit, water play in warm weather, developing their gross motor skills on the various climbing equipment / ball skills…you name it. In preschool, they encourage the children to share news every week according to a topic, supported by photos/videos that you send in, which has been great for my son to build confidence from a young age. The daily updates via the app are detailed and provide a large amount of photos of the children throughout the day to show what they’ve been up to, as well as personalised updates on the highlights of each child’s day. Highly recommend.
