Supporting local families for over 40 years
Since 1985, Uniting Preschool Adamstown Heights has been providing high‑quality preschool education for children aged 3 to 5 years. Located on Awabakal land and close to central Newcastle, our community‑focused preschool offers a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel supported and confident as they prepare for their transition to primary school.
A trusted, inclusive preschool community
Our experienced educators build strong, long‑term relationships with children, families and local community organisations, including Allied Health Providers, First Chance and Speaking in Colour. Many educators stay with us for years, providing consistency and trusted care during these important early learning years.
We are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment that reflects our values. Aboriginal education, social justice and environmental sustainability are embedded into our preschool program, encouraging respect, empathy and care for others and the world around us.
Learning through play, creativity and connection
With smaller group sizes, our educators are able to tailor learning experiences to each child, supporting creativity, confidence and essential school‑ready skills. Our natural and engaging play spaces invite children to explore their interests — whether as eco‑warriors, explorers or builders — fostering curiosity, self‑expression and a love of learning.
Partnering with families
We work closely with families to support every child’s learning, wellbeing and development, including children who may need additional support.
