We were really happy with dewdrops at the start, roughly 3 years ago. But since then the price has been continually increased, from roughly $120 per day to over $160, with seemingly nothing to show for the increases. I have it on good authority that the staff pay rate has not increased with the rate that dewdrops increases their prices. You will also be paying for public holidays when the centre is closed. They don't offer any holidays periods, meaning if you go away over the Christmas period, you will be paying for your contracted days no matter what. I know other centres give you a certain amount of "away/holiday days" per year. The staff turnover is also incredibly high, we found that there was no continuity of care. Although the centre administrator and staff are fantasic, they just dont seem to last long before they move on. Our boys really enjoyed their time at dewdrops and we wish we could continue, but the continual rises in cost have forced us to consider other options. I understand that it is very easy for a provider to say that these cost increases were necessary for one reason of another, but I personally feel they have been excessive with no increase in care quality.

My son has attended Dewdrops since he was a baby (he is now 5) and he adores the Centre and its team. Every teacher and staff member is kind, compassionate, loving, skilled and knowledgeable. Their emphasis on socialization also helps character development even at an early age.

Dewdrops dream team! The staff, educators, everyone is amazing, professional and supportive. Dewdrops has that homely feeling you want in a daycare centre and know you can trust your child to grow and develop while having fun at the same time. The extremely low staff turnover speaks for itself which is a huge comfort. Great play zones and shaded areas for those hot days. I’m super pleased my daughter has been part of the Dewdrops family and proud to support local family business.

A welcoming and friendly day care. The staff are lovely and take care of our kids very well. Whenever we pickup our kids they never want to leave! Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful daycare centre. My daughter excitedly hugs her educators each day, everyone knows each other and the quality of care is amazing. There is a huge outdoor space that the children love, and thoughtful events to give them a real sense of inclusion in the world around them. Couldn't recommend Dewdrops highly enough.

Our kiddo has been at dewdrops for a year and he really likes it. They’ve been inclusive and reassuring and he comes home cheerful and chatty and with new words and skills. Looking forward to another year!

We have been lucky enough to have our children in care at Dewdrops over the past couple of years. The Centre has a great family atmosphere and each child is treated with such individualism to grow and develop. The educators are genuine, caring and nurturing. The smaller size of the Centre is such an advantage as all the children and educators know each other and their interests. The educators are consistent suggesting Dewdrops is a great place to work. The director Rhiain is a great communicator, welcomes and farewells families each day with a smile and is always willing to help with any query. I have to also mention the unique and amazing bush kinder program the Centre runs encouraging local environmental learning. I highly recommend Dewdrops to any family looking for care in the area.
