Long day care and preschool for children aged birth to 5
Uniting Salem Early Learning Kambah has been supporting local families for more than 10 years. Established in 2012, our long day care and preschool is located on Ngunnawal land near the Kambah parklands, offering engaging and inclusive early learning for children from birth to 5 years.
A welcoming and culturally rich community
Our experienced educators, many of whom have been with us for years, are dedicated to creating a warm and respectful environment where every child feels valued and supported. We recognise and celebrate the diversity of our local community and foster cultural understanding through meaningful partnerships, including connections with Aboriginal elders that support children’s learning and appreciation of culture.
Learning that grows with your child
Our programs are tailored to support children at every stage of development. Babies and toddlers benefit from a caring, responsive approach that supports communication, physical development, and social and emotional wellbeing. Preschoolers are encouraged to explore their interests through a balance of open‑ended play and structured learning experiences, helping build curiosity, confidence and independence. Programs such as Aboriginal education are thoughtfully woven into daily learning.
Inspiring indoor and outdoor environments
Children are encouraged to explore creativity and self‑expression in our stimulating learning spaces. Experiences range from discovering native plants in our bush tucker garden and storytelling in yarning circles, to developing coordination on our bike track.
Our program also supports a smooth and confident transition to primary school.
We welcome you to tour our centre and become part of the Kambah community.
