The only word that comes to mind is "care" the educators here really do care about their kids, that is the take away from this comment, they care for your kids , like their own.

I removed my son from this centre after my husband and I were unhappy with the care he was receiving there. The place was chaotic and the staff were overworked and they didn't seem to care or have time to care for the kids properly. When I came to pick my son up, he would run to me and couldn't wait to get out of there. It was concerning as he was a happy child and never clingy and he would cry if I tried to put him down so I could collect up his things, etc., as if I was going to leave him there longer. I'd offer him his water bottle and he'd drink furiously like he hadn't been offered water all day. On one pick up, I noticed a child on the floor crying hysterically and not one educator seemed to care or make any attempt to comfort the child. The last factor in moving him was the menu. It didn't seem very healthy and they don't offer a variety of breakfast choices nor a late afternoon snack. I didn't take the time to look around in the first instance and that was a big mistake. I recommend touring a few facilities and asking to see the menu, the daily routine, what app they use to communicate with you and what they actually put in the app for you to see. Keep your eyes open as you walk around and get a feel for the place. Does it feel organised and welcoming or dark and chaotic?

I can’t recommend this centre enough. They have been so warm and welcoming. This is the first centre that I have felt comfortable knowing my children are safe.

Visited for a tour. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the facility inside wasn't suitable for children. I noticed several kids appearing unwell, some with full diapers needing changing. It was quite unhygienic, with many children having runny noses. My son even expressed disgust at a few of them; we're simply not accustomed to such conditions. Honestly, I'm relieved I explored other options before considering this place. I was genuinely shocked by the environment. I’m really sorry for the bad review but it has to be done.

This is a honest warning to all parents thinking of sending their children here - as I do not want any babies and kids to experience what I have with my son. A few reasons why we left this centre, my son experienced the following issues: - Educators continually smelled like cigarette smoke - Constant nappy rash - of which he would never get at home. - Constant green snot streaming down face - not even a few days in a year without thick green snot. Yes I know kids get sick from daycare but this was on another level! - little structure for the children it’s a free for all where kids are climbing and pushing, biting each other to an extreme level with little oversight from educators. In the baby room there are quite often hysterical babies who left in a pram or bouncer and completely ignored. Educators when they see you will be on their best behaviour but if you watch without them knowing you will really see what goes on. They will be on the iPad while babies are screaming out for attention. My heart physically hurt for those poor little souls. If you take one piece of advice from this review - when you tour the centre look at the children’s noses and then compare to other centres you might visit. That should be enough to tell you something isn’t quite right. Please make sure you look at multiple centres before making your decision - I didn’t and have lived to regret it. I was naive and thought this was normal. And I’ll just add - all these problems have instantly resolved since changing centres.

I cannot recommend this centre enough! They have gone above and beyond for my 2 kids! Everyone from admin to the chef have been absolutely wonderful! I love the care from this centre so much I have decided to have my children go thru kindy at the centre so we can use this centre for as long as we can! We don’t live close to the centre either, we travel just so our children can have the best care! They have become a second family to us. Highly recommend Greenwith Child Care & Kindy to anyone!

Beautiful place. Wonderful educators. Cannot fault them. Looked after my two kids very well.

Staff not willing to work with parents, Wont do one off day swaps. But conveniently will let you pay for an extra day

An older centre, which is fine. Plenty of educators who have been around a long time and are good at what they do. They might have even taught your parents. Not a very bright centre, a lack of natural lighting makes the place feel a little uninviting. To add to that, we never ended up feeling welcomed, always feeling like we had to ask what our child had gotten up to and how their day was. Communication was also lacking in regards to illnesses etc in the centre. When a notifiable disease was present, I found out on the radio in the car first, and when I asked “has my child been exposed” I was told they couldn’t answer that. A yes or no would have been nice. We ended up going to KozyKids in Golden Grove and have been much happier.
