This daycare is the hidden gem of Cheltenham and Mentone (even Parkdale/Mordialloc if near Warren Rd). We have been attending since early 2025 in the kinder room and we are so impressed with the care and development our child has received. The carer's foster the kids independence - from having a daily "helper" set the table and "count" the children attending lunch - to the many incursions they run (weekly music or sport lessons or term specific such as a BeeKeeper) to small excursions out in the local community. This daycare is exceptional. It's small in enrolment size but I would say bigger playspace than some of the local daycares. The children are challenged with age appropriate development and I'm seeing my little one practising letters to road safety. Highly recommend you tour and see if it's the right fit for your family.

My children have been attending for the last four years. We couldn’t be happier with the supportive and nurturing care they’ve received both as babies and now busy little people. The educators know and care for our family; both my kids love spending time with them and their friends at MPCCC. We feel very lucky to be a part of the community that Tonia (previous owner) built and Summer (current owner) is continuing to develop.

MPCCC is a fantastic family run boutique centre with educators who engage so well with all children and parents. They are served nutritious meals and have so many different activities for all the variety ages. My two kids LOVE going to daycare! Cannot recommend this centre enough

Mentone Park Childcare is such a beautiful family run childcare, we couldn’t be happier there. We moved from a larger childcare that was part of a chain and instantly noticed the difference in the care of our daughter. The staff have all been there for many years and there isn’t high turnover which means the same people care for your child, know your child and get to see them grow. It’s such a special place and we are so lucky to be sending our second baby there soon too!

Our favourite part of having our child attend Mentone Park Daycare and Preschool is that we know that they are cared for and loved. It is reflected in the peaceful and happy environment too - which I've observed when unexpectedly doing an early pick up or a later drop off. The children are happy to be there! For us, wonderful and caring educators who take the time to get to know each child as an individual are much more important than flashy facilities.

We have 2 kids that go to MPCCC and it was the best decision we made. The educators are friendly, respectful and focused on creating the best environment possible for our kids. I would definitely recommend this Centre to any future families

Both of my boys attend Mentone Park child care and Pre School (and my brother went many many many years ago). Amazing family run centre where all the educators know all the children (and are fantastic!), the meals are incredible and it has a great family feel to it. Highly recommend!

I do the live music and movement at this centre and the staff are always so wonderful and kind to the children.

My spirited daughter has been here for the last couple of years, I visited about 4 locally prior to finding this one. The others were the larger mainstream variety. This centre was chosen because it felt right after my tour. The staff genuinely care for the kids here, its good to see, its a small centre so good relationships between kids, carers and parents starts from day one. I'm very happy with my decision in choosing this centre. Cant recommend enough.
