I recently visited this service on two occasions. I had initially toured with my daughter to see the service and decide if it would be the right fit for my little girl. The first tour was great - the administration staff member was wonderful. She was able to ease my nerves as a first time mum and make me feel really comfortable. However, I did observe the educators within some of the rooms who appeared to not like their jobs or want to be there, and yelling at the children. The lady who took me for my first tour encouraged me to bring my husband back for a tour as well if I wanted to as I was still unsure. When me and my husband came back for my second tour the centre director took us around, this was not a good experience. She seemed unsure, and was unable to tell me about the routines or learning in the rooms. I also saw children sat around an educator watching what appeared to be cocomelon. The manager lady started making excuses and wasn’t able to take any responsibility for what her teachers were doing. This is appauling. We didn’t mind what the children were doing but didn’t feel the way that she spoke down about the staff was good and we didn’t want someone like that being in charge of our baby’s safety. I would avoid this place if you can.

Our little girl has been going here for 2 years and absolutely loves going to daycare. She has a great relationship with the educators and they are all so lovely. She has grown and learned so much thanks to all of the educators and activities they do with them. Highly recommend :)

My sons been attending Goodstart in Forest Lake for years. The staff there has been absolutely amazing from going through the room transitions as my son aged, the education he's received, to the love and care they show him daily. We absolutely love our Goodstart family and cannot say how much we appreciate you all for what you do!

We had a disappointing experience at this centre during our child’s enrolment process. Our child was enrolled on 3 November 2025 with a confirmed start date of 15 December, allowing close to six weeks for preparation. On the scheduled start day, it appeared that staff were unaware that our child was due to commence. We were informed that the administrative staff member had recently left, which was cited as a reason for the lack of communication. We were also advised that one of the buildings was undergoing roof repairs or construction work and that, due to capacity considerations, the centre was unable to accommodate an additional child at that time. This was unexpected, given that the enrolment and start date had been confirmed well in advance. Fees had been charged prior to commencement; however, the centre advised that a full refund would be processed. Based on the lack of preparedness on the first day and the uncertainty around capacity planning, we decided to withdraw our child shortly after arrival and seek alternative care. This review reflects our personal experience, and we hope the feedback is taken constructively to improve processes for future families.

I cannot recommend Goodstart on the Blvd enough. It is warm and welcoming and the educators are still the same from when my son attended and now I’ve returned with my next baby it was so nice to see that it still exceeds my expectations and has the same friendly faces there each and every day. Every class room has their own outdoor play environment and I can confidently say that no other centre I visited in the local area promotes indoor and outdoor play the way this amazing centre does. My son is very active and loved being able to choose between indoor and outdoor play and it is so reassuring to see the Director and the second in charge in the rooms helping they are all over it and you can just tell the staff communicate well to each other and really want to be there.

It did not have enough resources for staff members to deliver quality education. The teaching practices are poor for kids with additional needs, leaving the educators over the ratios. That is, an educator with 12 kids (3-5 year old) two of them needing hight level of support. Clearly they do not follow the department of educations rules.

We have now been at this wonderful centre for nearly a year. Our expectations have been exceeded. The staff are welcoming and professional and our child loves all of them. He comes home everyday happy and wakes up excited to see his friends and educators. From the moment we met the Director Tracey we felt welcomed and reassured and our love for the centre has continued to grow.

Since my baby is 4 months old I take him to this centre. We love everybody!! My baby is developing very fast. Everybody is friendly and loving.

Outstanding childcare service! Since my son joined at 6 months, he's thrived in a nurturing environment. Nursery 2&1 educators, especially Gagan and Ruby, are exceptional. They've fostered social skills, independence, and a love for learning. The supportive management ensures a top-notch experience.

As a 1st time mum this center had been nothing but amazing Fantastic communication Best staff Tidy and clean Hygiene on point my daughter hasn't come home sick once
