We have had two children go through Goodstart in Woodend and the care has been exceptional across all rooms. The educators have been so supportive of our little ones and we’ve always felt listened to and included in important conversations. The centre management are equally supportive and there are some great new initiatives and events for children and families. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Our family had a genuinely lovely experience at Goodstart Woodend. Our eldest attended the centre for almost three years, and our youngest was there for a short time before we moved areas and had to change daycare arrangements. As we were new to the area when our eldest started, the centre quickly felt like a home away from home. The educators and management are wonderful and always went above and beyond for our family. They really took the time to get to know us and provided such warm, caring, and personalised support for both of our daughters. The centre itself is beautiful, clean, and has a calm, cosy feel. The reception area opens onto the central foyer, so we were always greeted by educators and other families, which made the centre feel welcoming and friendly from the moment you walked in. We also noticed that staff retention was very high, which meant great continuity of care and familiar faces for our children over time. Our daughter still misses her friends and teachers at Goodstart Woodend and has so many happy memories from her time there. We highly recommend this centre!

We’ve been so happy with Good Start in Woodend from the moment our little person started. They are truly cared for, encouraged and supported to be confident, learn via play and to follow their interests. The whole team are exceptional and we feel so lucky to be part of this centre. As a kindergarten teacher, I’ve found Goodstart woodend to be an exceptional place to work. The environment is warm, supportive, and truly focused on the well-being of both children and staff and families. I feel valued as a Teacher and encouraged to grow in my role. The teamwork, communication, and positivity here make every day enjoyable. I’m grateful to be part of a community that is so dedicated to creating a nurturing and joyful learning experience for children.

My grand children love the Kinder teacher Cynthia, she is warm and welcoming. Takes the time to listen to their needs and has patience of a saint. The kinder program she does is fantastic.

Have used Goodstart Woodend for a couple of years now and it only gets better each year. It's nice to not have to worry about the kids when they are in care all day, unlike a previous centre we were at. The staff are all so friendly and go above and beyond to make the kids happy. Can't fault the centre in any way 🙌

We were hesitant in sending our children to childcare, but it has exceeded our expectations. The staff have always been so supportive, professional and provided such lovely care of our children. Our children are always welcomed by name in the morning, often being offered breakfast or invited to participate in a settling in activity. Updates on the children are sent out on a safe platform and the staff are always happy to discuss the children's day in regard to food eaten, naps and mood etc. The leadership team always meet my admin requests and questions, replying promptly. They too are a friendly face on arrival. On departure I always feel the children are safe, well looked after and happy.

As a first time mum, the staff and centre have been supportive of my daughter and me. They have provided updates on her daily progress, her likes and friendships and accommodated our routine into theirs for consistency. Love receiving little stories about her day and the photographs. Highly recommended for care of your children.
