Yasuko is an amazing caring educator who looked after both of our sons. Our eldest son attended from 9months for three years and our youngest son attended from 1 year old for over two years. Both boys absolutely loved their time with Yasuko and the other children. Yasuko is extremely caring, patient and thoughtful always planning fantastic days for the children and teaching them so much. I know she has had a hugely positive impact on my children’s development, values and helped shape them into the boys they are today. We are forever grateful to have been able to attend her family daycare. We always recommend Yasuko to our friends and acquaintances without hesitation.

Yasuko sensei is reliable and responsible person and my son loved to go to Sakura family daycare for playing with other kids and yaya and Jun Jun as well. My son is Japanese and had a speech delay when started, however she encouraged him both Japanese and English with lots of activities such as singing, craft, some Japanese culture things and now my son likes talking to people. Our daughter Agnes transferred to Yasuko from another family daycare so we were already familiar with how great the small group format is for children to learn and engage. Yasuko's kind nature and fun personality engaged Agnes straight away, and she was quickly eager to go to 'Yaya' on her daycare days. We loved seeing Agnes progressing her learning and having so much fun, as well as learning some Japanese culture through stories and songs. We all miss Yasuko now that Agnes has gone to kindy! If you have the opportunity to book your child into Sakura Kids, then I highly recommend you do. Yasuko is amazing.

My oldest daughter Alycia started Yasuko when she was about 16months old. Alycia was a baby who didn't like being around people and it didn't matter where she was and who they were. I could hardly take her anywhere without her screeming. Yasuko however always had a positive mind and was very patient with Alycia and tried to encourage me with her happy attitude. After a year or so with Yasuko's help, Alycia really started to blossom and her real personality came through and made it possible to have close friends there, growing in confidence during her 2 years with Yasuko. My second daughter Amelia also had a great year with Yasuko. She also made beautiful friends there and developed her own personality. Yasuko supported my children growing beautifully and myself in many ways. I can't thank Yasuko enough. I Highly recommend Yasuko to any parents who are looking for excellent quality day care for their children.

Yasuko has such a caring, nurturing and loving nature towards the children in her care. My son, Flynn adored Ya Ya and she seemed to also get as much joy from her day with the children . Flynn is an active little person and Ya Ya kept him busy and engaged throughout his day, always tailoring activities to his interests. In every photo that was sent, Flynn had a huge smile on his face and it was reassuring to know that he was enjoying his day while I was at work. We needed care urgently when we found Yasuko’s daycare and we often say how grateful we are to have found her. Flynn regards her daughters as ‘his friends’ and their sweet nature is a testament to Yasuko herself. We will miss Ya Ya now that Flynn has moved on to pre-school.

Yasuko looked after our daughter Eadie 2 days a week and she loved going to Ya Ya's house as all the kids would call her. Yasuko is so caring, kind and also a pleasure to deal with and her daughters are also wonderful with the kids, Eadie would always talk about them and her friends at Ya Yas. The perfect nurturing environment for little ones. We would look forward to our photo of the daily activities and Eadie always had a huge smile on her face. Will definitely be hoping to send our next bub to Ya Yas house, will definitely miss her!

We have been very happy with Yasuko's care of our daughter over the past 3 years. She was well looked after by Yasuko and enjoyed playing with fun learning stuff. She also learned some Japanese seasonal traditions and customs, which is great experience. We trusted Yasuko's care as she treated our daughter like one of her own. Yasuko is very positive, understanding and she's got a big smile everytime we see her.

I cannot recommend Yasuko's family daycare highly enough. Our son, Finn, started going to "Yaya's" 1 day a week when he was only 4 months old as was extremely well looked after for 3 years until it was time to go off to pre-school. During his 3 years of care, Yasuko showed Finn so much love, attention, and guidance that helped shape him into the confident and happy little boy that he is. Sending Finn to Yasuko's gave him such a fantastic start to school life and learning to be around and share with other kids. Finn bonded with Yasuko from day dot and often asks if he can go to Yaya's instead of preschool. Yasuko's house is always immaculately clean and she always has a big smile on her face. She is fantastic at nurturing her daycare kids through important developmental stages and outcomes. She even taught Finn how to count in Japanese! Yasuko uses an app to update parents with pictures and their child's progress during their visits - I just loved receiving photos of his visits! I've recommended Yasuko to a lot of my friends and have already enrolled our yet-to-be-born child #2 in her service. We can't wait to go back to Yasuko's for another 3 years!

Our family can not recommend Yasuko and her amazing day care enough. From the first time we met her over 2 years ago we knew she was the one to take care of our children. Yasuko was lovely and the environment she provided suit our needs. Our 3.5 yr old and 18 month yr old currently attend. The girls are super happy at drop off and sometimes don’t want to leave! The activities they partake in during the days really has helped their development. Yasuko is loving, caring and accommodating. We really feel she loves them like her own. It will be a sad day when the girls leave for school.
