This daycare is so amazing!!! Our daughter loves it here (she’s currently 19 months). The educators are all SO friendly and attentive with the children. You can genuinely tell they care about all the children. My daughter really enjoys going to daycare, she gets very excited in the mornings when I mention her favourite teachers names. She started at 15 months old too, which is usually hard to try transition, but she has always enjoyed it. She has learnt so many great things from being there too. I’ve seen a huge improvement is her talking and hand eye coordination. I also love that the educators are very friendly with the parents. Its always seems like such a fun and happy environment whenever I do drop off and pick ups. Angela the centre director is also very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Goodstart Barton provided a wonderfully caring environment for our little one with just the most nurturing carers we have come across. We were fortunate enough to get a place quickly following our move from interstate and despite our little one struggling with separation anxiety, the educators were quickly able to settle him in a matter of few days which very much helped us with settling back in our jobs quickly. We will forever be grateful to Goodstart Barton for helping make our move back to Canberra and transition back to our previous jobs easy and highly recommend this lovely little gem of a daycare in Barton!

Goodstart Barton has been a fantastic place for our little one, who’s under two. From the very beginning, the educators have shown such warmth and care, helping him settle in gently and confidently. They truly understand the needs of babies and toddlers—creating a calm, nurturing environment where he feels safe, loved, and supported. The educators are absolutely wonderful and incredibly supportive—not just of our child, but of our whole family. They’re the kind of people who go out of their way to make you feel heard, reassured, and part of the community. We’ve seen beautiful progress in our child’s development, from early communication and motor skills to his growing curiosity about the world around him. The activities are age-appropriate and thoughtfully planned, with lots of sensory play, music, and outdoor time. We also really appreciate the regular updates and photos that keep us connected to his day. It’s clear the team genuinely cares, and that gives us so much peace of mind. We’re so grateful to have found a centre where our child is thriving and happy.

Our son attended Goodstart in nursery 1 and 2. The educators were so kind and caring and treated our son so well, we really appreciated being able to trust that he was receiving quality care from such lovely people.

Goodstart was a wonderful start for our daughter. She flourished under the guidance and care of the fantastic staff and loved her time there. The Goodstart family are knowledgeable, kind and compassionate, going above and beyond to ensure all children’s needs are met. They communicated with parents regularly, providing updates on children’s progress, seeking input and listening to needs and goals. We always felt our child was in safe and caring hands during her time there.

I have had two children go fully through goodstart kingston/barton and they have been beyond excellent. The managers are fantastic and caring and they always ensure they have staff who are warm, kind and fun! My kids absolutely adored their time here and I would highly reccomend to anyone!

My girls attended Goodstart Early Learning Kingston which is now Barton.The whole team is like our family!Centre Director, Assistant Director and all educators are very supportive and always go above and beyond for all children attending their care, ensuring all children are safe and happy to explore and learn.As a parent, I feel blessed to have such wonderful team supporting and guiding me, my husband and both of our children.
