No Go Zone!

My daughter has just completed and finished up kindergarten, she was here since nursery, we have had nothing but the best experience! The teachers go above and beyond not only for the kids but also the parents! I couldn’t feel more comfortable and confident then I do with leaving my children in their care and also knowing my kids are actually learning every day to help with their journey getting to school. The relationships my daughter and now son have grew with the teachers is special! From the education to also the fun experiences my children have gotten is just amazing! Just knowing every day when I drop my kids off that they are safe, loved and well looked after is all I could have asked for! Thank you Goodstart Redland bay! You guys are truly amazing!

We moved to Goodstart Redland Bay in 2024 after being at another centre that we weren’t happy at anymore. Trusting other people to care for your babies is one of the hardest decisions to make as a parent. We cannot thank the staff at Goodstart Redland Bay enough for the amazing care, support and love they show our children on a daily basis. Both our children have thrived since starting there and they eagerly run through the doors, greeted with hugs from the educators they’ve come to love and trust. The attention to each child’s specific needs, family well-being and parent input is fantastic. Not only are most of the staff long term employees, all the staff members know each and every child at the centre and their parents. As parents, we feel valued and know that our requests and input is not only encouraged but implemented. If you are in need of educators that you come to think of as family, you need to check this place out. We are so grateful for the wonderful staff at this centre.

Goodstart Redland bay is an amazing centre with even more amazing educators, the care, nurturing and support they offer to the children and families goes above and beyond. Both my daughter & Son attended daycare at Redlandbay GoodStart. They both went from nursery through to end of kindergarten. We were extremely happy with the service provided over the years. All of the educators were amazing, they always provided such great care to the kids & we’re always approachable if we had any concerns about our little ones. One of my top priorities when looking for a centre was not only great care but also the cleanliness of the centre. I can honestly say the hygiene was always a top priority to the staff & management there too! We had very positive experience at Goodstart Redlandbay & would highly recommend them.

I can't recommend Goodstart Redland Bay enough! My children have been attending this centre for the past six years, starting in the nursery when they were only a few months old. As a new mum, leaving my young babies in care was difficult, but the team at Goodstart made me feel incredibly comfortable and reassured me that my children would be safe and well looked after. Over the years, my children have had the opportunity to learn and grow through the amazing experiences provided by the dedicated educators. The educators are truly devoted to each and every child, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their development and well-being. If you’re looking for a caring, nurturing environment for your children, I would highly recommend Goodstart Redland Bay to any family in the area!

As someone who has worked in childcare for many years, I have high standards when it comes to quality care and education, and this center exceeds them in every way. The educators are genuinely caring and attentive to each child’s individual needs, providing an environment where every child feels valued and supported. The education they deliver is truly top-tier, fostering both academic growth and personal development. My son is neurodivergent, and I have never felt more confident and secure leaving him in their care. They go above and beyond to accommodate his unique needs, offering unwavering support not only to him but to me as a parent as well. Their understanding and compassion have made a world of difference in his growth and learning journey. Since starting at this center, my son has blossomed in ways I could only have hoped for. He has learned so much, developed important skills, and gained confidence in himself. Every educator brings something special to the team, and their collective dedication creates an atmosphere of warmth, safety, and excellence. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my child to receive his early education. Knowing he is in such capable and loving hands gives me peace of mind every single day.

Families with blended dynamics or neurodivergent children should think twice before enrolling at Goodstart Redland Bay. In my experience, the management lacks professionalism and regularly oversteps appropriate boundaries, making it difficult to trust the centre as a safe and supportive environment for children. One of the most concerning issues is the excessive screen time, with children often watching movies or YouTube videos under the label of “Engaging with ICT.” This level of reliance on screens is far from what should be expected in a childcare setting that claims to prioritize development and engagement. Their kindy graduation ceremony also highlights poor judgment and a lack of inclusivity. Scheduled late in the evening and lasting two hours, it included a tribute to mothers while the only reference to fathers was the song “Another Brick in the Wall,” which has inappropriate themes of abandonment and mental health struggles. This is highly insensitive, particularly given the diverse family dynamics many families experience. Finally, feedback management is a red flag—critical reviews appear to be removed, and the centre has not undergone a full external review in several years. These practices raise serious questions about transparency and accountability.

My stepsons have attended this centre on and off over multiple years, and I cannot recommend highly enough a centre to avoid. The amount of screen time the centre engages in with the kids (every single day in the kindergarten program), the lack of care for contagious illness, the list goes on and on. The staff also do not engage professionally, and I was often ignored & treated rudely in front of my stepkids, purely because I was not a biological parent. I have several friends in the area who had also pulled their children from this centre as their kids were being yelled at by staff (formal complaints were made), as well as the kids being looked after as if they were just being babysat. While there have been several genuine staff there over the years who genuinely cared for the kids, none of these staff have remained.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Having x2 kids grow up in this centre, I cannot recommend these amazing people enough to help grow, look after and educate your children. The people in this centre have always gone above and beyond to ensure that my children were catered for and to help me with any questions, queries or concerns I ever had. The kindergarten program within the centre is one of the best I have ever seen! They help prepare the children for school by providing ‘real world’ experiences with the local school to help provide comfort and familiarity. If you are wanting a wholesome, well-rounded, understanding, kind and caring daycare centre for your children, look no further than Goodstart Early Learning at Redland Bay!
