My son started at Crayon house when he was just shy of 2 years old. We had many misgivings starting at day care as any first time parents would be. Within a week of him starting we realized that we had stumbled on having him enrolled at a centre that is exceptional in standards as are the skills of staff that work there. We had the peace of mind that while we are at work our child will be looked after with care and nurture. During the 2 1/2 years that my son attended Crayon House we never had a single complaint to make or ever had him come home with any complaints. We found that having him enrolled at Crayon House his social skills and language skills improved vastly and paved the way towards preparing him to go "to big school" and had such a smooth transition from day care to school. Lidia and her team have at all times been great to communicate with and have always been quick, polite and professional in getting back to us. When it was time for my son to leave Crayon House I was quietly sad that our chapter with them had come to an end. Crayon House will always hold a special place for our family. I highly recommend them to any parents looking at enrolling their children in day care.

Extremely bad management and care. My child stained injuries at the centre which they did not report to us. When I raised this concern with the manager she was so defensive and abrupt. The manager than proceeded to interrogated my three year old with another educator. Absolutely unprofessional and not child focused. The owner initially responded better to our concerns but ultimately did not care as the manager is her daughter. Zero accountability. Other issues: The staff were often anxious and seem to be walking on eggshells. There was no proper program for the kids. Place seemed chaotic. Within weeks of being at this place, my child was suddenly rude and had behavioural issues. Within couple of weeks of removing my child from the centre, she was happy, inquisitive and polite child. If you’re looking for one star care for your child, this place is it. Plenty of better childcare centres near by.

Our girl spent 3 years at Crayon House before graduating for "big school" and I will always be eternally grateful for the care of the staff at Crayon House. In an industry where a high turn over of staff is the norm, Crayon House has managed to hold staff for long periods of time with our child having the opportunity to build strong ties with educators that have been instrumental in her development at "little school". This is a reflection of the safe, nurturing environment that is Crayon House and anyone in Education or who values education knows that it's the people that always matter, and that valued, happy and present happy staff are key to the success of any school, not the slick and fancy deliverables. I particularly love the structure of the rooms at Crayon House where there is a single "middle" room of children who are not babies and not kindy kids. Our girl thrived in this structure as it replicated sibling and home life which is so crucial for the development of interpersonal skills and she learnt so much from the older kids as well as having the opportunity to develop empathy to care for the younger children. A million thanks to everyone at Crayon House. She's still so excited to point out "little school" every time we drive past!

Choosing a day care for our 1-year-old was an emotional decision for us, and Crayon Day Care has exceeded all our expectations. When my son first joined about a month ago, he struggled to settle, which was very difficult for us as parents. From the very beginning, the educators showed extraordinary patience, warmth, and genuine love towards him. They took the time to comfort him, understand his routine, and respond to his needs with so much care and kindness. Their gentle reassurance not only helped my son feel safe but also gave us immense peace of mind during a very emotional transition period. Today, seeing my son happy, settled, and excited to attend day care fills our hearts with gratitude. The positive change in him speaks volumes about the dedication, compassion, and professionalism of the entire team. Crayon Day Care truly provides a nurturing and loving environment, and we feel incredibly thankful to have found such a wonderful place for our child. I cannot speak highly enough of Crayon House. The level of care here has been absolutely exceptional. The staff are among the most caring, loving, and genuinely dedicated people I’ve ever met—they treat every child as if they were their own. The educational approach is beautifully balanced between learning through play and helping children develop emotional regulation skills. It’s a boutique day care with thoughtful owner involvement, outstanding service, and flexibility of care like no other centre I’ve experienced. We have been so incredibly happy and feel truly lucky to have been part of this beautiful centre for the last three years. Crayon House has been a blessing for our family. Crayon House is an amazing childcare centre. The educators created a safe, caring and fun environment. Our son thrived there, he grew so much in confidence and independence. We could see that he really enjoyed being at Crayon. What stood out to us was how well-organised and professional the staff were. The educators were diligent in providing daily updates, which we greatly appreciated. There were also lots of different incursions and events where family could join in, which made us feel really involved. Thank you so much for looking after our little one. We miss you heaps!

Crayon House is the most wonderful childcare centre we’ve ever experienced. My daughter Luna spent nearly two and a half joyful years here, and we’re so grateful for the love and care she received. The staff are stable, warm, and truly dedicated. It’s a place filled with kindness, support, and happy memories — we couldn’t have asked for a better start for Luna.

Our two children have attended Crayon House over the past 6 years and we have been very happy. All the staff are fantastic, so kind and caring with the kids. Would not hesitate to recommend this daycare to others. Will miss seeing all the lovely educators now the kids are at school.
