The staff at FELC are so professional, knowledgeable and experienced. Our son has been attending FELC for three years and we have been so happy with the high level of care and attention to detail of staff. The rooms are bright and clean and I love that the children are outside all day. They get to develop gross and fine motor control while exploring the natural environment and develop their language and coordination too. The teachers are so loving and kind and are always happy to chat. The food they provide is varied and nutritious, even incorporating indigenous foods too. The centre director really knows her stuff and is completely child-focussed. The community events are a wonderful way to meet other families and organise playdates; something other centres don't really do. We would recommend FELC wholeheartedly.

FELC is a great early learning centre! The staff are wonderful and so are the facilities. Our toddler loves it and so do we. At times our child has required special input due to health issues and they have always responded incredibly positively and facilitated all requests with enthusiasm and thoughtful care. Thank you!

Really loving FELC! The play leaders are really friendly and super considerate towards our son, especially when he was settling in. They provide great updates on how his day is going and always cuddle him as we leave when he’s upset.

FELC is a leader in early childhood education and I could not feel more comfortable leaving my small human here to be nurtured each day.

Our son has been attending FELC three days a week for the past year and we can’t say enough about this place. The people, the building, the playground…. But mostly it’s about the people. They are everything you could ask for in childcare and education staff. Our little dude loves them like family.

We love FELC. We have two little ones attending and they are both so happy here after moving. They have made amazing friends and often mention their educators as the people they miss over the holidays. The centre is in an unassuming spot, and the surrounding area might surprise you, but inside FELC really feels like a sanctuary. The educators are lovely and creative, the spaces are engaging and thoughtfully set up (we love the art studio!) and best of all the community of parents is incredible. It's been wonderful for our kids and for us.

I felt compelled to write a review after reading some of the more recent ones. Our experience with the Weitj and Kwelena rooms has been amazing. The staff really care about the children. Right from the start they celebrated the uniqueness of our little one. The sense of community and the events they hold is really sweet. We were a bit nervous sending our little one to daycare and couldn’t be happier with our choice.

My daughter had a lovely time here and felt supported by her educators in 2022. However, this year when I enrolled my 2.5 year old son there had been a big staff turnover and it was a hard transition for him. I was starting a new job and drop-offs were very stressful with not enough staff to help him settle and he was crying on pick ups aswell. After getting help from my mum to care for him for just over a month (because she didn't want to do the drop-off either) I asked to unerol him because it wasn't getting any easier. The Director just replied with a "Sure, we will unerol him in the next pay cycle." The next couple of weeks I got lumped with a $1200 bill. After waiting 2 weeks for communication about why this had occurred, calling and emailing with no response the director explained that it was the Child Care Subsidy revoked for the time he was absent. Centrelink informed me that if the child does not attend the daycare the week before unenrolment then all ChildCare Subsidy is revoked for the days absent beforehand. They told me the director would have known this information as she deals with people on the CCS everyday and she could have informed me to just attend one day for me to receive the Subsidy for all the previous days. I didn't feel like she cared or had any understanding for my situation.
