Exceptional Day Care in Neutral Bay We have been extremely satisfied with our decision to move from a franchised day care to this centre. One of the first things we noticed was the significantly lower staff turnover, which speaks volumes about the wellbeing and positive culture for both educators and children. The educators genuinely take an interest in nurturing young, curious minds, creating a thoughtful and engaging learning environment. Activities such as Arts Night and Book Week are particularly memorable and reflect the centre’s commitment to creativity and learning beyond the classroom. Nutritious, well-curated meals are prepared by Chef Franny, who thoughtfully introduces children to healthy eating in an enjoyable and age-appropriate way. We are truly grateful for the dedication and care shown by the staff and would highly recommend this centre to families seeking a supportive, enriching environment for their little ones.

5 Stars – Truly Exceptional Kindergarten Neutral Bay Kindergarten has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our daughter. We first heard about it through a neighbour who highly recommended this lovely family-run centre. After moving our daughter from a franchised daycare, the difference was incredible from day one. One of the standout qualities of NBK is the remarkably low teacher turnover. This consistency has had such a positive impact on my daughter’s confidence and development. You can genuinely feel that the educators are happy, valued, and passionate — and as every parent knows, happy teachers mean happy children. The stability they provide has made my daughter feel safe, supported, and eager to learn every single day. The teaching team is absolutely wonderful, with educators from diverse backgrounds who bring creative ideas and rich experiences into the classroom. From cultural activities to hands-on learning, they make every day engaging and meaningful. One of our favourites was the Art Night, where the children showcased their work in a charity-focused event — such a beautiful initiative that shows the heart of this kindergarten. A huge highlight for us has also been the nutritious meals lovingly prepared by Chef Fanny. They even run a “Vegetable of the Month” program to help children learn about healthy eating in a fun, engaging way. My daughter now proudly tells me which vegetables she ate and enjoys — something I never expected! Every month, the kindergarten shares a “What’s On” update, which I truly look forward to. As a busy working parent, it gives me a clear picture of what my daughter will be doing, helps us prepare, and makes me feel connected to her learning in such a meaningful way. Over the past year, we’ve watched our daughter grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. The support from the teachers has been instrumental in helping her transition to big school next year, and we couldn’t be more grateful. And finally, the farewell graduation ceremony was the most beautiful and thoughtful event we’ve ever experienced — heartfelt, well-organised, and filled with joy. It was a moment we will treasure forever. Neutral Bay Kindergarten isn’t just a childcare centre — it’s a nurturing, inspiring community. We cannot recommend NBK highly enough! The educators are absolutely amazing — incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely caring. It’s clear how much they love what they do, and it shows in the way they interact with the children. Our little one has grown so much in confidence, curiosity, and joy since starting here, and we know that’s thanks to the supportive and nurturing environment the team creates every day. We have experienced quite a few daycares, but NBK has surpassed them all. The huge effort they put into education, activities and forming genuine bonds with the children is second to none. We are extremely thankful to have had our little one in such safe hands whilst at NBK!

If I could give 1000 stars I would. NBK is a place that celebrates children and their development. Everything about NBK is child focussed. They build programs and policies on principles that makes education fun for children and gives them opportunity for creativity within a structure and room to celebrate individuality. The stability in staff is a testament to NBK living their values and hiring to maintain these values. We had gone to a different nursery prior where illness was rampant and staff went thru a revolving door and education was nonexistent. The difference is at NBK astonishing and it shows in my kids happiness and wellbeing. He is learning, he is rarely sick, and he is thriving at NBK. My only criticism (which is an absolute compliment) is that it’s a shame NBK doesnt have a primary and high school under their management as we’d happily enroll our kid all the way thru!!! I am so assured keeping my precious little one in NBKs thoughtful care and would happily recommend to any other local families.

I can highly recommend NBK. When entrusting the care of your children to others the key concern is safety, and whether the carers will nurture your children as you would. NBK ticks both of these categories. All of the staff are amazing, and show genuine care and interest in the children. My children are (and have been) so happy in the loving environment that NBK provides.

It is with great pleasure that I write this testimonial for Neutral Bay Kindergarten. Over the past 7 years my three children have attend NBK and all have thrived in such wonderful preschool environment. Nick, Tania and their wonderful staff have made each one of my children feel secure and valued and have helped provide them all with the beginning academic and social skills needed as they make the transition from pre-school to primary school. The staff at NBK show genuine affection and concern to both children and adults alike. It is such a comfort to know that my children have had a great start to their education.
