Our centre offers ‘Christ-centred’ care. This reflects the Lutheran belief that God sent Jesus Christ into this world to reconnect humanity with the love and compassion of God. Christ’s practice of valuing each person, welcoming the stranger and outcast, caring for the needy and giving of himself in service to help all people informs all our practices.”

The play-based curriculum at St Mark’s Lutheran Early Learning Centre focuses on the children’s social, physical, emotional, spiritual and academic development. The educators balance learning activities with time for rest and reflection. 

The children are empowered to make their own choices and learn self-discipline and self-esteem. They are encouraged to be independent and take responsibility for their learning and their belongings. As they learn alongside their peers, they also learn important communication, language and social skills while developing early friendships.

The centre has five rooms, each catering to a different age and stage of development:

• Nursery (6 weeks - 2 years)
• Toddlers (15 months - 2.5 years)
• Senior Toddlers (2-3 years)
• Senior-Kindy (2.5-4 years)
• Kindergarten (Pre-Prep) (3-5 years)

The educators at St Mark’s Lutheran Early Learning Centre are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated. The centre provides regular professional development to ensure the educators can extend their own learning and development.
