Having both my children go through this service has been a delight, my youngest has developmental delays and all staff have been supportive and caring towards myself and son in helping to build on his development. The low staff turnover definitely proves the family environment and welcoming vibes of knowing you as an individual coming into the service. Highly recommend.

Avoid the kinder room until the bully is removed or appropriately monitored. He bites, punches and bullies and unfortunately it hasn’t been appropriately handled to stop it. Incident forms are absent. The bully still goes although there isn’t adequate support for them. Advice from the educators can be to ‘do what the bully did back’ (flush his hat in the loo). Yes Bec and I’ve had a number of conversations about it. I’ve posted the review as over the course of 6mths there wasn’t a resolution found other than us removing our child. It was a situation that saw a number of other children hurt, not only ours. Please don’t make silly suggestions insinuating that we wouldn’t have respectfully tried to find a solution before making a public review.

Goodstart Ballarat Creswick Road welcomes children from 6 weeks to 5 years into a warm and homelike environment. The centre has a passionate team of educators who provide holistic and play-based learning programs for essential school readiness. Children are encouraged to learn in their own way and at their own pace.
In line with the Early Years Learning Framework, interiors are colourful, stimulating and sensory, with toys and books designed to ignite curiosity and a love of learning. The centre values family connection with educators welcoming families to celebrate special events including Special Visitors Day, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea and Christmas Basket Tea.
The centre has two spacious outdoor play areas, featuring wide shade sails, a sandpit, a fun teepee and plenty of age-appropriate play equipment. With natural elements including grass mounds, a dry creek bed, vegetable patches and a worm farm, children also gain an understanding of nature and sustainability.
