I tried 4 daycare centres in the Ballina area (with different children). Goodstart Ballina is the BEST centre out of all of them. The staff are fantastic- they really know their stuff. Goodstart Ballina provides children aged 6 weeks to 5 years with educational opportunities and care in a supportive learning environment. Dedicated and experienced educators lead a strong school-readiness program and encourage the children to be happy lifelong learners. Children are supported in a safe and positive space to develop confidence and independence.
Indoors there are five rooms consisting of two nursery, one toddler and two preschool rooms. The rooms are well-equipped with age-appropriate toys and resources to keep the children engaged and learning through play. Building blocks, puzzles, paints and musical instruments are just some of the many options for the children to explore.
The large outdoor space allows the children to explore, run, jump and play while developing their gross motor skills. Special garden areas, which include a veggie patch for the children to learn how to tend and grow veggies are part of the daily activities. In addition, a sandpit and coloured wooden playground with a slide keep the children busy and entertained.
