My family have relied on WCCC since 2022, we have complete trust in the centre with our precious babies. They teach kindness, resilience and have allowed our kids to thrive through their early learning years. They are beautifully cared for, nurtured and fed, in the most gorgeous centre with a large outdoor area. We are so grateful to WCCC.

WCCC has been a blessing for my son and my family, deeply grateful for the incredible care and dedication of the team. Windsor Community Childrens Centre is really an incredible centre. There is a very small staff turn over which is a testament to the quality of the centre and the team are very considered in the way they care for the children, making every effort to help them feel safe, welcome and develop secure attachments to the educators.

My daughter has been attending WCCC since 2022, and our time here has been excellent. The educators and staff are skilled and care about their work: the children are treated with respect, and their emotional well-being is first and foremost. Learning and development objectives are agreed upon with families for each term, and progress reports are sent at the end of each cycle. Their program includes an anti bias curriculum, risk play, cooking lessons in French with the Centre's chef (you get treats to bring home!), bush kinder activities, and a Reconciliation and connection to Country plan. The Centre has a beautiful and expansive garden that the children can access every day, which is rare in such a densely developed area. They can play with water, sand, and mud, so definitely one has to be prepared for the washing! They are currently rated as exceeding the national standards for early childhood education (ACECQA framework). We were shortly at a different centre before starting at WCCC, and that has given us perspective on what a remarkable space and experience is offered here. The highlight for us is the focus on the children's growth as capable and collaborative members of our society, and on creating a connected community for their families.

WCCC is a hidden gem. The backyard is like a bush oasis - full of mature trees, natural materials for kids to climb and explore, and even a fire pit (which, as a consequence, has resulted in my son teaching me about fire safety since he was 2!). I am so grateful that my inner city, apartment dwelling child gets to spend so much of his day exploring nature and engaging in risky play. So many of the educators have worked there for years (in some cases decades) and you can really feel both their accumulated knowledge and their genuine investment in the kids and community. I can see that the educators have spent the time to really get to know my child, his temperament and interests - and are constantly challenging themselves to find new ways to support his growth. Indigenous perspectives and valuing diversity are both central to the program, so if raising a kind, self-confident and socially aware child is important to you - then WCCC is perfect. Lastly, the food is incredible! The smell of home cooked curries and risottos makes me wish that I could stay for lunch. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely be sending my second child there too.
