Yesterday was my daughter’s last day at Doncaster Early Learning Child Care, as we’re moving away from the area, and I can’t leave without sharing how grateful we are for the incredible experience we’ve had. Since she started attending, my daughter has grown so much – becoming more independent, building social skills, and learning how to engage with different groups of children while still enjoying her own independent play. A special shout-out to Kimie and Melinda, who have been absolutely amazing throughout her time here. Their warmth, dedication, and ability to create such a supportive and nurturing environment have been a huge part of my daughter’s growth. Their kindness and patience have made a world of difference, and it’s clear how much they care for the children. The entire team at Doncaster ELC is wonderful, and it’s clear that they put their heart into ensuring every child feels valued and empowered to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. It’s been a joy to watch my daughter blossom here, and I’m beyond thankful for the positive, safe, and enriching environment they’ve provided. We’ll miss Doncaster ELC, especially the wonderful educators like Kimie and Melinda, but we leave with fond memories and deep appreciation. If you’re looking for a place where your child can grow and thrive, I wholeheartedly recommend Doncaster ELC! Read more
Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. It truly means the world to us to know that your daughter had such a positive experience at Doncaster Early Learning Child Care. Watching children grow, thrive, and become more confident and independent is what we strive for every day, and we’re so happy to have been a part of her journey. Kimie and Melinda will be especially touched by your lovely shout-out. They are both deeply committed to nurturing and supporting the children in their care, and it’s wonderful to hear how much their warmth and dedication impacted your daughter’s development. The bond they form with the children is something they take great pride in, and knowing they made such a difference to your family is incredibly rewarding. We will miss your daughter’s bright spirit and joyful presence, but we are thrilled to have been a part of her early learning years. Thank you for entrusting her care and growth to us—it has been a privilege. We wish you and your family all the very best in your new adventures, and we hope your daughter continues to blossom in her next chapter. Please know that you’ll always be part of the Doncaster ELC family, and we’ll cherish the fond memories too! Safe travels, and thank you again for your beautiful recommendation.

Dear Nickole, We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns, and we want to assure you that we take the well-being of all children at our childcare centre very seriously. Whilst we understand that it can be distressing to witness children upset, it is important to note that young children may express their emotions in different ways, and occasional crying is a normal part of their development. Our educators are trained to address the needs of each child promptly and appropriately, and we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for every child under our care. We strive to create a nurturing environment where every child feels secure and supported. As this is the beginning of a new year, we have new children starting at the centre and it would be unavoidable to have crying children. However, we assure you that our educators are nurturing these little ones by supporting them in their transition to the new environment. We encourage open communication at our centre. If you have any specific concerns or observations in the future, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We value feedback from our community and are always looking for ways to improve our services.
