We were only at Pine Mountain Road Child Care for a couple of months, but in that short time the educators made such a big impact on our family. From the very first day, the staff were welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring. The educators go above and beyond to support the children’s learning and wellbeing, and I always felt reassured knowing he was in such capable hands. Even though our time there was brief, the level of care and dedication shown to both our child and our family was exceptional. We are so grateful for the positive experience and the wonderful support we received at Pine Mountain Road Child Care.

We were delighted by our daughter's care by the team. As a 1yo she quickly grew a bond with her carers and came to enjoy drop off. I can see her day is filled with fun activity from the daily photo report and her meals are always nutritional and varied.

We have sent all three of our children to PMRCC over the last 15 years. During this time we have always found the educators to be first class. They are caring, loving and make childcare a fun learning environment. We cannot thank PMRCC enough for the superb effort they have made for our family. Special thanks go to Debbie, Cheerie, Kel, Dee, Ann-Marie, Jas and Ying. All the team are beautiful, but these people in particular have made a huge difference in our lives. Thank you so much!

An established centre with an experienced educator team who really care for your little one. I had my newborn son enrolled here at 4 months old, one day a week initially as I slowly transitioned him to full time care. I was nervous but the team is so well organised and offer plenty of support with great communication.

Have had the pleasure of having all my children attend childcare here. The facilities are fantastic and the educators are excellent. I’m constantly impressed by their teachers going above and beyond to make each and every day special. There is a real sense of community and my children are so excited to go to daycare everyday. It’s such a comfort knowing your children and happy and well cared for while also having access to so many fun opportunities to learn and experience cultural holidays. Constantly impressed by Pine Mountain Road Childcare!

Great childcare centre! Our son has been there for approximately 18months now. Staff are lovely and very approachable, there’s a wide range of extra activities they can participate in if they want to. Would highly recommend the centre!!

This daycare centre present as very unprofessional. I was extremely shocked at some of the things that were said to me when I went in for an orientation session with my daughter. For starters I was told to come any morning at anytime. I decided to go one morning at 8:30 after dropping my son off at his daycare. When I got there the lady in the office was rude and told me orientation is between 9:30-10:30. They let us stay and do orientation anyway. Secondly, I was told that at orientation the nursery staff would interact with my daughter, give her a bottle etc. They did nothing. I sat there with my daughter the whole time. One of the staff was talking to me and asked how old my daughter was. I told her and she said “your going back to work already?” And then proceeded to say things like “your going to miss all her first milestones”. I asked one lady where I could change my daughter. She actually did it for me. But this woman with all the questions, when my daughter was crying as someone else had her (which I was expecting) said “does this make you feel bad you won’t be here when she cries”. Additionally, they told me my daughter (as she is younger than the other babies there) would be put in a bouncer and sectioned off all by herself for the day. Personally I think the role of the daycare staff should be to make parents feel comfortable with taking their child to daycare, not to be guilted or reminded of the guilt that they might be feeling in doing so. These questions and statements were completely, COMPLETELY inappropriate. I have since withdrawn my daughter from this daycare because of this and after having heard some other negative reports. I emailed the centre to explain why, hoping to provide them some constructive criticism that they could fix. But I was provided with a response that indicated that there would be no action in altering staff behaviour. Instead, I was made to feel that I was overly sensitive and the staff were in no way wrong in their behaviour. I would not recommend if you are looking for friendly staff that will interact with your child.

I can't believe all the good reviews for this place?! The most traumatic experience for both my son and I was enrolling here. He started at about 9 months old and it started off well but after a few months we started having some serious issues. One day I picked him up to find he had chipped his front baby tooth, but I wasn't informed by them nor given an accident report form. He certainly did not get a chipped tooth in my care. He would constantly be sick (I know babies at daycare get sick from time to time but this was almost every other week) the cleanliness of the place was not good - I could clearly see the brown grime in the corners and cracks of toys. My partner collected our son earlier than anticipated and walked in to find him strapped into a swing chair on his own with no interaction from any care giver - who knows how long he had been in there - he was just absently staring into thin air :( As soon as we would drive into the car park he would immediately become inconsolable and also be the same when we collected him - clearly a traumatic experience as no matter how long he had been there it never got better. The care givers were all lovely at the start (in particular Monica) and offered to feed him his dinner if I brought it in as I was in full time work and he would be there from 7am-6pm. I thought that was really lovely and helpful so would take prepared meals for his dinner in. When Debbie caught wind of this she very firmly told me that ' we will not be giving dinners so please don't bring food in" and then proceeded to send out a very passive aggressive newsletter highlighting it is not the job of the ladies to feed the children dinner. I apologised as I didn't realise it wasn't the done thing and when my son reached 15 months (the age required for the local goodstart) I immediately unenrolled him due to the above and many more instances of disappointment. In his new daycare he doesn't become inconsolable at the gates and the care givers feed his dinner without hesitation.
