My child has absolutely thrived here. Even with the current staffing issues in the sector. Birralee handles this very well and has a steady supply of quality educators to plug gaps due to sickness. It is on the small side and the not-for-profit aspect really shows - it's intimate and much less busy than other centres I've seen. Educators are respectful, caring, inclusive and dedicated to the wellbeing of the children. Forget novelties like bush kindy or learning Mandarin - the kids spend much of their time outside engaged in valuable play-based learning...imaginative play, role play, climbing trees, jumping off boulders. It is the best kind of learning!

Incredible. You will not find a better child care centre, with staff who care more than Birralee. We have experienced several day care centres as I move around for work. Without a doubt the staff at Birralee are outstanding and make this centre shine far brighter than any other. Our boys LOVE going to daycare, they have access to amazing outdoor areas and are engaged with an excellent educational program. The food provided for them is nutritious and varied. I spent the time visiting 6 other centres and although this one was a slight drive from our house, i would highly recommend it to anyone - the staff are amazing!

Our two girls both attended Birralee over the last 7 years. It is the most wonderful place! The staff are absolutely amazing and caring. They have a very low staff turnover which is great - the children can form strong bonds with their carers. My youngest is now about to start Prep so sadly we had to say goodbye to Birralee today - but we know that if we want to pop back in for a visit, we would be welcomed anytime. Recommend Birralee 100%

You will not find a better centre than this. All the staff are experienced, caring and create the most amazing learning experiences for the children in their care. The director ensures that the centre is run to an excellent quality standard. The communication between home and the centre is excellent and all staff are approachable to discuss your child at any time. My boys have loved (and continue to enjoy) attending this centre.

The educators at Birralee Childcare Centre are nothing short of superstars. We first enrolled our daughter 9 years ago at the age of 6 months – fast forward those 9 years and now our son is finishing up kindy ready for Prep next year. They were all so understanding and supportive when we first joined, taking extra time every day to make sure our daughter and then our son felt comfortable. They have now become part of our family. The kids are well cared for and most importantly you know that the carers genuinely care about the kids when you observe their interactions with them. The amount of time and effort they put into every day is amazing. They also do super cute and thoughtful activities and little gifts on special occasions (Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Christmas etc.), you can really tell the team care and are so thoughtful. Now the food is also equally amazing, walking in to drop off the kids you can smell the food cooking, which of course made me jealous as it smelt amazing. I can’t recommend Birralee Childcare Centre high enough. It’s going to be sad not going there every day but I know we can pop in at any time to say hello and be welcomed with open arms.
