My daughter has been attending this centre for close to four years and has just graduated from her kindy class. I couldn’t be happier that we chose Princeton Street—our experience over the years has been consistently positive. The staff are truly exceptional human beings who genuinely love what they do, and their care for the children is outstanding. The centre director, Mali, is proactive, professional, and always quick to respond to any queries. She is open to feedback and suggestions, which we have really appreciated. While I’m certainly happy to say goodbye to the weekly daycare bill, our family will genuinely miss coming to the centre and the wonderful connections we’ve built over the years. Thank you, Goodstart Princeton, for your amazing support and for the wonderful memories you’ve helped create for our daughter.

Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

As the children move through the different rooms in the centre, the curriculum evolves with them. The educators set goals for the children and celebrate as they reach their milestones. At every stage, the educators are tailoring the curriculum and goals to each child’s individual needs.
The curriculum involves different types of learning experiences and styles. From child-led learning to sessions guided by educators, the children participate in small and large group sessions as well as individual play. Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

Hi, I’m Mali Shoaei and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Kenmore Princeton Street.
I hold a Diploma in Early childhood Education and have over 15 years of experience working with children across various age groups and in different positions within the childcare sector.
Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive. My extensive experience has been equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to ensure that each child receives the highest quality of care and education.
On a personal note, I am also a parent of two wonderful children, which gives me a unique perspective and understanding of the joys and challenges that come with rising children.
I am here to support you and ensure that our childcare centre remains a place where every child can grow and flourish.

Over the past few months, I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer as a student at Goodstart Princeton. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The staff are truly amazing, caring, supportive and always positive. The children are an absolute joy to be around, and I've really come to love this place.
