Absolutely wonderful centre, my daughter loves going there and has just graduated preschool. The educators are super caring and many have worked there a long time, they also are very welcoming to children who need extra support and have an Inclusion teacher and Chaplain on staff. Would recommend Young Discoverers to other families.

My child has only been going here for a few weeks now but I can’t recommend this place enough! My child had such a bad experience at another kindy and hated being left there. Now my child actually enjoys their days and tells me so many stories about what they did at kindy. The educators are amazing and you can tell they actually care about your child and the experience they have. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and I’m so happy I made the decision to send my child here. Thank you to the team for making the transition into to Kindy and easy one!

All three of my children went through Young Discoverers at Helensvale. The staff are so friendly and genuinely care about every child. So many of the staff are long term at YD which is sooo rare in Child Care Centres these days. The stability of staff is so important for children to feel at ease.

I love this kindy. I honestly thought I loved my last kindy, but now I realise by comparison I like it. This place has the best start for young children. My only regret is that my other children didn't get to go here and that I left it so late for my last child to start. This plays on my mind daily. Their learning is far supirior to past experience, their kindness, excursions for the pre schoolers, organisation, extra activities, values, morning creativity stations that get set up each day and focus on the children and their development is second to none. This kindy is a brilliant experience! I love that they don't waste educators time taking meaningless snaps of kids all day and writing paragraphs to parents, possible why the learning journey is so much better for the children. That goodness for common sense approach to prioritising the important stuff.

The staff at YD are just wonderful and truly feel like family. I cannot recommend them enough as a high quality daycare centre that take such good care in all that they do. I would never send my children anywhere else and can honestly say we would be lost without the staff there. So greatful for the beautiful bonds some of the staff have made with our children.

We first came across Young Discoverers when a friend of ours enrolled her child here. She said her daughters felt right at home when they visited and they had had tours through a few centres. We knew very little about the centre but wanted our daughter to be at the same place as her friends, so we enrolled too. Little did we know what an amazing centre we were signing our kids up in. The quality of care and education at Young Discoverers has been second to none. Our kids have simply thrived in the care here and we've had 4 kids go through. There is so much to be appreciative for: always being accommodating, making every family member (not just ours) feel welcome and like a part of the family, the community spirit, everything our kids have learnt, all the folios and special holiday decorations, the photos, the concerts, the dedication from the staff, Jess’s amazing photos, the list goes on. It is a very well managed and run centre by Chrissy and Rowena, the staff are all so very dedicated to the kids and families and really make you feel at home. It is truly a great centre and we are so happy to have placed our kids in the care of Young Discoverers over the years. Highly recommend this centre.

I am an occupational therapist that visits Young Discoverers Helensvale weekly, and I always feel so welcome from the moment I walk in the door. The YD director Chrissy is so involved with all students and staff and is always keen to implement strategies to support the children. All teachers and staff are so friendly, and are passionate about investing into the little ones!

I’m been connected with Young discoverers since the early 2000s!!! I have had the pleasure of working for them over those early years and to now come back and have my daughter attend. Alot of the same staff are still there and everyone is so caring, friendly and inclusive. We absolutely love the centre and would recommend to everyone :)
