Our two-building layout provides age-appropriate learning environments, with a dedicated building and outdoor play yard for children under two and another for children aged two to kindergarten.
Our experienced educators take the time to build meaningful relationships with children and families, creating a strong sense of belonging. With four longstanding team members and many educators who have been with Goodstart for more than five years, our team values consistency, connection and collaboration.
Children's learning is guided by their interests, strengths and developmental needs. Through engaging, play-based experiences, educators encourage curiosity, creativity, communication and growing independence. Our programs draw on the Early Years Learning Framework, while our funded kindergarten program, led by bachelor-qualified teachers, helps children develop the skills and confidence they need for a positive transition to school.

State Government Approved Programs
Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

Both of my boys attend this daycare, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! It means so much to me knowing they’re somewhere they’re genuinely cared for, looked after and supported in whatever milestone is next. The educators are amazing, and you can really see how much love and care they put into what they do. They take the time to understand my children’s individual needs and routines, helping them feel comfortable, settled and safe. I also love all the activities they do with the children and my older son goes crazy for their playground!<br><br>Communication is fantastic, with regular updates on how their day is going. You can also tell the internal communication with each other is on point too, which gives me so much peace of mind knowing that whoever is caring for my boys understands their needs.<br>The administration/management team is equally wonderful, just as involved in the boys care and super helpful with any questions or issues I’ve had with my CCS.<br><br>The centre is so well organised, clean and welcoming. I’m genuinely so thankful we found this daycare, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough to other families!

I have sent my 2 children to Goodstart Early Learning Maryborough for the last 3 years. The educators have played a paramount and invaluable role in both my children’s early childhood education and strive to ensure equity for all children and families who access this daycare facility. As parents we have access to open and transparent communication from the centre regarding our children’s day to day activities. This is achieved through the Story Park app with daily updates on what the children have achieved throughout the day. The children are provided with nutritionally packed meals throughout the day, nappies, sunscreen, water, and provided with an age appropriate early childhood education curriculum and plenty of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Specifically pertaining to our family’s cultural values and beliefs, this centre goes over and beyond to ensure their part in cultural inclusivity. This is an important element of our children’s upbringing and we love that this centre is actively involved in culturally significant events and activities. The educators who have worked with my children are warm, compassionate and committed to providing the children with the best possible early education. Most of the centres educators have many years of industry experience and many have children and grandchildren of their own. This further emphasises their loving nature towards the children. I highly recommended Goodstart Early Learning Maryborough. It is our families preferred daycare centre.
