My name is Danai and I am the Service Manager here at Sparrow Early Learning Stratford. I have been working in the early childhood sector for nearly 12 years, including a short period in Early Childhood Intervention. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood and throughout my career I have worked across a range of roles, including Admin Manager, Room Leader, and Centre Manager.

I am a big believer that children thrive and flourish through a meaningful play-based program. Parents are their child's first teacher, and our families put all their trust in us as educators. We have a vital role to ensure we are providing a safe, nurturing caring and respectful environments for their child to thrive in.

Children should have FUN exploring through play. I personally love sensory and messy play which is one of my favourite experiences to do with the children and to watch their curiosity and enjoyment

• Weekly bush Kindy program – Children have the opportunity to explore the natural environment in our local community and take their learning outside. 
• Weekly pram Kindy excursions - For all ages
• Music classes - Children engage in music with a qualified music teacher 
• Yoga – Children practice mindfulness and moving their bodies with a qualified yoga teacher 
• Gymnastic classes - Children engage in weekly gynastic classes 
• Cooking lessons – children will learn how to cook from a qualified chef. They will also learn how to fuel their body with yummy and healthy foods.
• Regular incursions from emergency services including police, fire and ambulance and incursions about sustainability.
• Weekly Pre- Prep program - To support our kindergarten studio through their transition to school.
