We love our Hobart Place Centre. The educators have been an integral part of our children’s lives and have been with them from when they started daycare at 9months to farewelling them off to kindergarten. The educators are kind, caring and trusting. The cook does amazing meals and every staff member knows every child. I would absolutely recommend.

Hobart place early learning centre is a wonderful centre with very kind and caring educators. They have been particularly supportive with my very shy daughter. They are very responsive if you have any queries. They write very detailed daily updates and organise very regular family events at the centre. They always plan to make sure there are familiar faces there at all times. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is at times during meals and activities one educator is with a large number of children and I think it would be best to utilise more of the educators available to spread out the children in the large outdoor place to make it more manageable. If there was a 4.8 star option I would give that! My children are very happy going there and are well looked after, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hobart place to anyone looking for care in the area.

There is a genuine and collective passion for early childhood education at Hobart Place. This is clear in how the staff interact with and nurture our daughter and her daycare peers. We are beyond thankful and excited to watch her grow and learn throughout her early childhood education.

Hobart Place has been wonderful experience for us as first-time parents. Our daughter does not warm easily to strangers. She did not take long, however, to find comfort and security in the staff and environment at Hobart Place. She loves cuddles with her carers and we always feel totally at ease leaving her in the hands of staff each day. There is a genuine and collective passion for early childhood education at Hobart Place. This is clear in how the staff interact with and nurture our daughter and her daycare peers. Hobart Place is a smaller-scale centre with a warm community feel. Most children move on to attend Illawong or Tharawal Public School together. They start school with the benefit of solid friendships formed at Hobart Place. Our centre is close to Illawong Public School and Illawong Shopping Village.
Families value our picturesque and well-resourced ‘outdoor classroom’. The large renovated playground features a sandpit, cubby house, row boat, and mud kitchen for messy play. Climbing is a favourite activity here! Under our large shade structure we engage in mobile play opportunities such as climbing and balancing to build motor skills and core strength.
Families tell us how much they value our caring and experienced team. Strong connections are the foundation for every child to thrive. Parents value our collaboration and the secure attachments we build with children.
Our quality education program includes a deliberate combination of intentional teaching and spontaneous learning. It also reflects the children’s interests and each child’s learning goals.
