My son attends CSIROCare Clayton, and we’ve been very pleased with the centre. He feels safe, happy, and comfortable every day, which gives us great peace of mind as parents. The educators give him the care that he needs at this age. I'm really happy with the services and people at CSIROCare.

My son has been attending CSIROCare for 4 years now, and we couldn't be any happier. The educators are caring and really connected with him. Further, we love how the centre is integrated with nature, unlike most modern childcare centres which feel quite "artificial". The learning and playing tools are also adequate and age-appropriate. The weekly rotating menu is well thought out and provides more than sufficient nutrition. Highly recommended!

Our son has been enrolled at CSIROCare, and we have had a wonderful experience with the centre. The educators are warm, caring, and genuinely dedicated to the wellbeing of the children. They do an excellent job of supporting both his mental and physical development while ensuring he receives the individual attention he needs. We truly appreciate the care and support they provide and would highly recommend CSIROCare to other families.

About CSIROcare Clayton

Our programs for children evolve from a play based learning approach. Through play, children can learn to make sense of the world around them. Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. Play provides a strong foundation for intellectual growth, creativity, problem-solving and basic academic knowledge. We are committed to implementing inclusive programs that meet the needs and abilities of all children and are reflective of their interests. Weekly music & sport programs are included as a further extension to the program. Other special events are also arranged throughout the year.

We strive to build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families and work to enable families to feel a sense of community and belonging. Families are welcome to come in at any time and participate in the program. We value traditional parent involvement activities such as working bees and social events which are ways of building and extending partnerships. In addition, we have many different kinds of social events at different times such as morning/afternoon teas, a Christmas party, celebrations of cultural and religious events, excursions and incursions.

Having authentic partnerships with families is a crucial part of what we do every day.

Our team of more than 20 staff are dedicated to providing high quality care to the children and families within our centre. We have a combination of permanent educators allocated to each room, room support educators and casual relief educators. We also have a qualified cook who prepares all meals on site.

Our centre is managed by a volunteer committee of management which consists of interested parent representatives.
