My son who is nearly 6 months old has been at C&K Amberley for 2 months now. We love it here! He lights up of a morning when we arrive and even gets upset of an afternoon when we leave. He’s truly flourished and I’m so grateful to the C&K Team! They’re incredibly attentive, patient and you can truly see that the educators are so incredibly passionate about what they do. I also love that even though my son is currently the youngest at the centre, has a short attention span, can still only sit assisted & doesn’t yet crawl that he’s included in so many activities. He ‘made’ a Halloween Craft (painted foot & handprints), painted a ‘Melted Snowman’ and Poppy (used his hands to paint each of them) and even had an educator sit with him in the hand pit to explore the sand. I love that their Directors are super hands on, often in the rooms when I’m dropping him off and picking him up goes to show their leadership are truly aiming to lead by example & be engaged instead of being locked away in the office.

Such a fantastic centre! The educators build strong relationships with the children and families, and the atmosphere is always positive and nurturing. My child is excited to go to daycare every morning. C&K Amberley has been the best choice for our family.

My daughter has thrived in the centre since being enrolled at the start of this year. She settles well, has close bonds formed with teachers and friends. We have never had any issues or incidents, other than general kid clumsiness. The preK teachers are amazing and follow a great program involving both structured play and freedom of choice. Our daughter has learnt to count and recognise numbers up to 13, all of her colours and is beginning to experiment with letter making. We are excited for her to begin Kindy next year given how much she has flourished this year.

Staff really care for kids

Beautiful center. My son was here for almost a year. Margaret is just beautiful and does incredible teaching the children in the toddlers room. My son really took to her highly. Our needs were heard and always met if there was ever a concern. Bec the director went above and beyond to rectify and improve where ever needed. Very educated staff and a beautiful layout of the outdoors area which my son throughly enjoyed.

Staff are very friendly and really care for the children.

Both my children attended this centre over the past 8 years. My children formed great friendships with other kids which assisted in their transitions into Primary school. But besides that, most other aspects have been very poorly managed. A handful of staff are helpful, but the rest have poor work ethics. The centre has seen a very large turnover in staff, particularly in the past 12months. My children both experienced no permanent Kindy teacher in the years they attended and the positions taking 6months+ to fill. I am very surprised C &K have not addressed these issues sooner as there is clearly an issue with this centres management. It has been a big letdown and I would expect more from a company like C & K.

So far not a great impression. I'm hoping it improves a lot for me to mellow sending my child back. I'm not liking the lack of structure and loose approach without a curriculum or any guidance. We will see I guess but so far, not really overly happy.
