❤️ We can never thank Goodstart Altona and all the amazing educators enough! ❤️<br><br>Since moving from Queensland to Melbourne, both of our children have been part of Goodstart Altona, starting from Nursery and now progressing to Kindergarten. From the very beginning, we have always felt so welcomed, supported and genuinely cared for.<br><br>I have experienced a few different childcare centres over the years, and honestly, Goodstart Altona is by far the best centre my husband and I have found. The educators are incredibly professional, calm, caring and attentive. They truly go above and beyond to make the children feel safe, happy and valued.<br><br>Our children absolutely love their educators and are always excited to go to childcare. As parents, there is no better feeling than knowing your children are in a safe, nurturing and positive environment where they are learning, growing and having fun every day. ❤️<br><br>A special thank you to Stacey and the entire Goodstart Altona team for being such a wonderful and important part of our children’s journey. We’ve had such a lovely experience at the centre. My son has been there since he was a baby, and the bond he has formed with his key educators in each room has been so lovely to see. Being put into daycare as a baby is always hard as a parent (leaving them can be emotional for both mum and baby!) The baby room educators were always there to help with the tears and made sure his routine was followed, which gave us so much reassurance.<br><br>The toddler room in particular gave him such a great start. His favourite key educator, Catherine, knew exactly what he needed and how to approach him after drop-off, especially during those difficult moments when he was missing us. She was always so calm, caring and reassuring, which made such a difference to both him and us. We could really see the difference in his confidence, particularly with his speaking and communication. They were always so excited to tell us when he achieved something new that day.<br><br>My son has recently moved into the kinder room and is really enjoying this next stage. The transition has been really well supported, and although he can still get upset at drop-off sometimes, the educators are so attentive and reassuring and always make sure he is settled. It’s lovely seeing him become more independent and confident as he gets older. He is really enjoying the age-appropriate learning activities and experiences they have in the kinder room. There’s a great balance between learning, creativity, play and socialising, and he comes home telling us about what he’s been doing, what he has learnt (albeit in his own description) and who he has been playing with. We’ve noticed him becoming much more confident in talking about his day and sharing his experiences.<br><br>Our family also really enjoys seeing the learning updates and notifications throughout the week. My son gets excited when we show him the photos, and it gives us a great insight into what he has been doing while he’s there. It also gives him the opportunity to talk more about the activities and explain what he was doing, which we love.<br><br>The centre director Stacey and administrator Loretta are also INcredibly welcoming and approachable, and you really get the feeling that everyone genuinely cares about the children and their families. They also have some wonderful events planned throughout the year for both the children and families, which is a lovely way to bring everyone together.<br><br>Being a shift worker, my schedule can sometimes change, and the centre has always been so accommodating and understanding when we’ve needed to make changes to our days. That flexibility has been a huge help for our family.<br><br>We’re happy we chose the centre and really grateful for the care, support and relationships they’ve built with our son and us over the years. It’s been so lovely watching him grow from a baby into a confident little boy in such a caring and supportive environment.

To all of the educators and staff who have cared for our child for almost 3 years, we will always be eternally grateful! Our child has had a wonderful start to life, being taught by a supportive, diverse and caring group of staff. We are always impressed by updates and changes made to the centre and in particular the kinder room, which is always well communicated and executed. Our three and half year old has been attending Good Start. Here in Altona since she was in the baby room. She is now in the kinda room and the staff have been amazing. They have kept familiar workers going through the different stages with our child. Keeping continuity of care. Allowing our child to always feel safe and confident and connected to not only the staff but also her peers. She particularly loves the home corner. She also loves the cooking and science experiments they do in the kinda room and the huge outdoor area. Which does mean sand coming home in the shoes but she absolutely loves it and that’s so worth it . There’s plenty to climb and jump off, and bikes to ride ect. Our girl has learnt the words to her now favourite songs and sings at the top of her lungs and also enjoys sitting and listening to books. Thank you Stacy and all the wonderful kinda room staff Connie, Gunjun and Renada and I apologise if I spelt your names incorrectly. As I felt it was worth giving you all an individual mention even if I got the spelling wrong. Thank you from another very happy family.

Extremely happy with the fantastic care and education that the team at Good Start Altona provide. My little one have been going since she was 1 year old and has been supported by the fantastic staff at every stage, she is currently in kinder room and loving all the amazing educational set ups. The team keeps us updated and included. We appreciate you all so much!

Exceptionally happy with Goodstart Altona. Our child has been in the nursery and toddler rooms, and are over the moon with the quality, care and support provided by the staff. All of the educators have made our child’s experience so positive. We would, and do, recommend this centre to anyone.

Our daughter absolutely loves attending and often talks very highly of her teachers at home. Our child has been attending Goodstart Altona for the past year, and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly, caring, and always attentive to her development and wellbeing. Amazing location, both my kids have been going since they were babies. Gunjan in the kinder room, in particular, has been amazing with my hyperactive son and was truly fantastic when it came to toilet training and helping with maintaining behavioural consistency
