What the parents say
What the parents say
"Leading Edge Childcare has changed my life. My daughter suffers from anxiety and never wants to leave my side. Just 2 weeks in and she’s even had a sleep over with my family! Loving the centre and the educators, thank you!" - Destinee - Parent
"Leading Edge Morayfield has been amazing! My children have gone from hysterical crying and not wanting to go to day care to telling me I can go as soon as we walk through the doors and not wanting to go home. With the newly renovated centre and the addition of the kitchen, they are my top pick for local day cares and can’t recommend them enough!" - Jayde - Parent
"I can’t recommend this centre enough, the staff are so professional yet down to earth and caring, nothing is ever a bother. We have come from another centre and have not looked back, not once has my 2.5 year old cried at drop off, always excited to go and tell me stories once I pick her up! Thank you Leading Edge team for changing our lives!" - Jillian - Parent
"Our baby’s first experience in care has been so amazing! The educators are so welcoming and have already built a beautiful relationship with our little girl." - Nathan - Parent
"Would highly recommend anyone to send their babies here, the staff are so welcoming." - Skye - Parent
"Honestly that was the best experience. Your staff are so friendly and amazing, I am so thankful you were able to help on such short notice. My little girl normally cries but I’ve never seen her so excited to go to school. Thank you very much." - Simone - Parent
"Great place already! Our child went today and looked to have a ball! He was asleep before 6pm, you guys are miracle workers!" -Ryan - Parent
Centre philosophy
Centre philosophy
Respect: The centre respects the traditional Aboriginal owners of the land, the children and their own diversity, and the families and communities that are part of the centre.
"We respect when we hold hands." - Alayna (Kindergarten)
Trust: At the heart of the centre’s philosophy is the idea of building trusting relationships that are grounded in mutual respect.
"To ensure parents and children trust their Educators, making sure they are comfortable leaving their children at the service." - Belinda (Senior Managment)
Patience: This is about helping children to begin to think critically about fair and unfair behaviour, and to remain accessible to others at times of distress, confusion and frustration. Patience is not simply the ability to wait, it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.
"To provide an environment where everyone’s input is heard and respected." - Amy
Kindness: The centre seeks to demonstrate kindness every day through their interactions and encourages children to do the same. A smile, sharing of toys, or offering a hand is encouraged every day to grow the children’s confidence and build strong relationships.
"Sharing things and playing with friends." - Cleo (Kindergarten)
Creativity: The centre believes that fostering creativity in children is vital for their holistic development. Whilst being creative, children spend time practicing their concentration skills, fine motor skills and their problem-solving skills.
"Always planning programming on interesting things to allow the children to open and widen their minds." - Sarah (Parent)
