Recently we came down an toured local services, I was hesitant to tour this centre as the previous reviews looked poor, but I did because it is close to our new home. I had to put my review up, because our experience was FANTASTIC. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted by Jess the Service Leader and the centre was beautiful, every educator made us feel welcome,with a busy outdoor 3 year old, we feel in love with the Bush Kinder. My family and I have been with happy hippo since it first opened, my daughter was there until she started school and now... My family and I have been with happy hippo since it first opened, my daughter was there until she started school and now my son is there. Although I have experienced a few issues over the years overall I have been happy with happy hippo - when any concerns are raised they are dealt with there and then. Such a horrible centre. When my son attended the child care, i picked him up on multiple occasions and he had grazes and... Such a horrible centre. When my son attended the child care, i picked him up on multiple occasions and he had grazes and bruises on his face with no explanation to why and how he got them, and no incident report. EVERYTIME I walked into the centre, He was always left unattended and unsupervised. He was even left in the same nappy for 12 hours. By the end, my son didn’t even want to walk into the room and attend child care. Read more

We recently joined happy hippos after leaving another daycare in Geelong. When we called Amy she invited us straight in for a tour, the staff were all warm and welcoming. Linda has been a great teacher. I love that my daughter has settled straight in (this was not happening at her last centre) we get daily updates. I love the Bush kinder and out and about programs.
