Wanda has been amazing at settling our first child into care. She has a very calm, warm and nurturing demeanour which suits our daughter and puts our worries at ease of starting care. She has also helped our daughter establish more of a routine and is always accommodating to our way of parenting. I feel very happy dropping our daughter off knowing she is getting a lot of care and attention all day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wanda to anyone looking for care in our area!

Bright Morning’s changed our lives, I just wish we found Wanda sooner! After a bad experience with a large day care centre, my husband and I couldn’t believe our luck when we found out Bright Mornings had an available spot for our little boy. Bright Morning FDC is a safe & nurturing space - the perfect little environment for our 1-year old’s first experience of day care (and our own first foray into family day care). Wanda’s warm, nurturing and maternal ways have been instrumental to our daughter settling in very well & forming a connection so early on. Wanda helps you to feel at ease…. it is much like leaving our daughter with a family member! I am an Family day care educator, registered with the Northern Beaches Council. I operate my FDC at my home in Newport, conveninetly accessible to schools, busses and shops. I have all the required childcare certification and have also worked with children in long day care centers across the northern beaches. I have been operating my Family Day care for the past 8 years as I love and enjoy providing care and support to young ones. I offer an indoor and outdoor space to free play, with interesting toys and craft activity oppurtunitites. I also have kids yoga and meditation, music and many more exciting ideas that will keep your children busy all through the working week, where they can socialise with kids their own age and develope their milestones as part ofthe munch and move school rediness programe. I have access to an online forum where you can get an insight into your child's daily activities,what they get upto during the day and where you can directly engage with me on child related matters, being a mum of two, I can be a great support for babies and toddlers during their early years of learning. The philosophy I adopt is that of inclusion and diversity where all are welcome for the oppourtunity to learn and play so everyone can have a great start in their early years of development.
